• Solely responsible for Exterran Pakistan’s QHSSE Operations including projects.
• Provide exclusive support to Exterran Operations at JJVL LPG & NGL Extraction Plant Jamshoro, Construction and commissioning of gas processing plants under MOL (Makori) MPCL (Sujawal), PPL (Gambat & Adhi) & compression units of UEP Badin.
• To maintain liaison with Karachi, Dubai & Houston offices as well as client.
• Conduct Incident Investigations and Root cause Analysis using TapRoot software.
• To Manage QHSE activities using INTELEX- System of Records software.
• To lead in Management System development and implement HSE Management System within the plants.
• Monitor & supervise Internal IMS Audits/coordinate External surveillance audits as well as conduct IMS Audits of facilities In UAE, Bahrain and Oman
• Coordinate HSE Corporate Audits
• Supervise Journey Management
• Ensure provision of QHSSE resources to facilities
• Review Risk Assessments
• Act as secretary Management Review Meeting and also conduct QHSSE Committee Meetings at locations.
• Act as Chairman Loss Prevention Team (LPT).
• Provide support to project and assist teams in Hazard Identification & in Quantitative as well as Qualitative HSE Risk Assessments.
• Monitor Waste Management program.
• Assist in implementing HSE standards to manage risk associated with the company’s activities and living environment.
• Make arrangements of Soil & Water testing from certified laboratories.
KEY ACHIEVEMENTS
• Vigorously monitored construction, commissioning & Operational phases of plant-1 & Extension from HSE point of view. All the phases passed without any major incident or injury to employees’ or contractors.
• Prepared work methodology for Incident Reporting and Investigation/ Hazardous substance handling and storage/ Confined Space Entry / PTW/ Risk Assessment /HAZCOM and for all the critical safety needs.
• Transformed all data base into automatic monitoring, managing & messaging system.
• Transformation of HAZCOM program in line with GHS-Global Harmonization System of classification and labeling.
• Implementation of Respiratory Protection and H2S Safety Program. (Acquired Calibration capability for 4Gas monitors )
• Helped company in acquiring IMS Certification.
• Acted as Management Representative during certification & Surveillance audits.
• Successfully implementation of Behavior based Safety Programs i.e. X- Factor & Goal Zero.
PROJECTS/ HONORS & AWARD
• HSE Support in Construction & Commissioning of JJVL Extension Plant Jamshoro- A project with Gas processing Capacity of 125 MMscfd and production capacity of > 220 MT/Day of LPG and >80 MT/Day of NGL. (Completion Period-12 Months).
• To look after the QSHE requirements of all 42 Airports (12 International Airports) of both the South and the North regions.
• To represent CAA in National Disaster Management Authority meetings and Ministerial Working Groups on Disaster Risk Reduction under the umbrella of United Nation Development Program.
• Maintain liaison with Top Management, Airport Manager’s (APM’s) of all Airports, community representatives and local administration.
• To act as a Management Representative in IMS matters.
• To monitor Environmental issues pertaining to Aviation and to ensure that National, International Rules, Regulations and protocols relating to Environment are adhered
• Devise QSHE Policies & Procedures and carryout annual reviews and updates.
• Devise strategy for internal QHSE audits to be carried out through out the country and submit results to top management for management review.

KEY ACHIEVEMENTS
• Recently saved more than 2.5 Billion Rupees in Water Treatment Projects.
• Supervised several large scale emergency drills at Karachi, Islamabad & Lahore airports
• Signing of MoU with WWF Pakistan which made CAA the first public sector organization in Asia to come up with such an arrangement.
• Became focal person for Pakistan in International Civil Aviation Organization ICAO’s Environmental Protection Committee.
• Completed a major investigation on Bird Aircraft Strike Hazard under the banner of Aviation’s Safety Investigation Board (SIB)
• Procurement of Measuring & Monitoring equipments to cater for the requirements pertaining to National & International Environmental Rules, Regulations & Protocols pertaining to the Environment.
• Acquired an approval from Board of Directors headed by Secretary Defense for establishment of Integrated Management System (IMS) Directorate.
• Establishment of Integrated Management System (IMS) at CAA
• Supervised the System development for accusation of IS0 9001: 2008, ISO 14001:2004 & OHSAS 18001: 2007 Certification.

• HSE Support in Construction of New Islamabad International Airport- A Mega project spanning over 3, 289 Acres of land. The project is divided into numerous packages including Aviation Fuel Farms which are being catered for by several companies with multi-lingual and multi-cultural background.
• Received Director Generals Commendation Certificate in recognition of rendering meritorious services to Civil Aviation Authority
• Had the honor of delivering a lecture on “Impact of Indoor Air Quality on Human Health” in National Conference on “Impact of Energy on Health, Safety & Environment”. Also interviewed on the subject by TV channels.
• Had the honor of delivering a lecture in “Airport Environmental Control Seminar” which was followed by one on one interview with TV channels.
Roles and responsibilities during this stint were more or less same as current responsibilities. The only difference is that Liaison level during this role was lesser than the current and also that currently I am responsible for the all country operations where as during last role I was only responsible for Construction, commissioning, Operation & Maintenance of One plant.
PROJECTS/ HONORS & AWARDS
• HSE support in Construction & Commissioning of JJVL LPG & NGL Extraction Plant Jamshoro- A project with Gas processing Capacity of 200 MMscfd and production capacity of > 450 MT/Day of LPG and >90 MT/Day of NGL. The Plant included compression, power generation, Storage and loading facilities. (Completion Period-9 Months)
Topped in Masters of Engineering- A Research Oriented Degree with individual Thesis as prerequisite. The degree also contained a dedicated subject on Environment Health & Safety (EHS). Degree is attested and verified by Higher Education Commission of Pakistan formal regulatory and authentication body. Attached Document contains Authenticated Degree and relevant Transcript.
