Performs site inspections for on-going construction to ensure compliance with the contract document and approved shop drawings and submittals and ensures that it complies with Project Specification, QCS and other related standards.
Assist and coordinate with Resident or Senior Electrical Engineer for the management and supervision of electrical aspects of the project.
Records all significant events and relevant issue affecting the process of the works and coordinate with the Senior Electrical Engineer responsible.
Monitor the materials incorporated in the work and check every delivery.
Maintains records of inspection requests and other work-related documents at sites at all times.
To notifies senior Electrical Engineer of deficiencies found at the site and conduct re-inspection to verify compliance and prepares daily report of inspection and investigation.
Responsible to check pre-commissioning test of all wiring system prior to termination of electrical equipment including functional test such as MCC, MV Switch board & DB’s and lights and power.
Prepare Daily Work Report & Submit for the review of Senior Electrical Engineer.
Prepare Outstanding Work Report.
Reviewing project contract documents and monitoring construction activities to ensure compliance.
Monitoring and evaluating electrical tests such as ground-fault, ground resistance, insulation resistance, polarity, continuity, capacity, load and other electrical field tests as required.
Exercising ability to interpret single-line and/or schematic electrical drawings as well as plans and specifications.
Field checking installation and location of electrical equipment, electrical duct, conduit, cable, panels and other components of the electrical system being installed.
Monitoring all electrical installations to assure circuitry phasing, equipment, and grounding adhere to construction documents and National Electric Code requirements.
Raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) and/or Site Instructions when the works of the contractor were identified as not conforming to construction drawings, ITP and project specification.
Monitoring Contractors' compliance with approved Quality Control Plan.
Providing general inspection on all Contractor and Sub-Contractor work to assure a safe and workmanlike operation.
Conducting Progress, Technical & Co-ordination meetings with contractors & external agencies.
Overseeing construction work in progress and assisting with contract compliance and work acceptance.

Member of Taking-Over Committee of all the six North South Railway Station buildings.
Engineer's Representative to witness Test & Commissioning of Electrical Systems & Equipments.
Reviewing Red Line Drawing & assisting the Contractor in preparation of Final As-Built Drawing.
To ensure that the project will be done in accordance with all the approved construction drawings, contract documents, specifications and all applicable standards.
To plan, control and monitor the actual execution of all electrical related works of the project.
Prepare site progress reports, schedules etc.
Coordinate the Electrical, Mechanical & Plumbing elements of the project with client/consultant and design engineers, identify & resolve all the potential interference and conflicts.
To ensure co-ordination with other contractors of the project.
Prepare testing reports.
Handling the L.V Network failure complaints.
Locating the fault in the L.V network.
Proper allocation of the complaint between the group of technicians.
Preparation of complaint statement after solving it.
