•Working knowledge in LINUX (UNIX), SQL.
•Good hand on Nokia NETACT OSS configuration management tools like CM operations manager, TLUI monitoring tool, network editor, and reporting suite (worked on Nokia NETACT OSS 5.3 & 5.4)
Roles and Responsibilities:
•Administrating OSS Servers (HP-Linux) and Regular health checkup of Tier1, Tier 2 & Tier 3 Servers in OSS.
•Manage Nokia Net Act Cluster, connectivity server, Data server, LINAS & GUIS servers
•Troubleshooting & Manage basic configuration of Cisco 3800 router and Cisco catalyst Switches (2600).
•Basic knowledge of VTP, VLAN, STP protocol.
•Configure route in Router for Network Element to make them reachable from OSS.
•Daily Health checkup of SW and RTR ex.. Utilization, load etc.
•Monthly basis change of enable password in RTR and SW for security.
•Taking regular offline, online & image backup of all OSS (CS, DS & LINAS) servers.
•Scheduling jobs through Crontab and its Administration in Linux Server
•Using HP -ILO for remotely manages Linux and Window server and their H/W Logs
•Check various disks in EMC Storage System
•Perform SQL queries like select, delete update.
•Troubleshooting & Manage basic configuration of Cisco 3800 router and Cisco catalyst Switches (2600).
