a Landscape Engineer he is responsible for the Review of IFC drawings, shop drawings, As-built drawings, Material submittals, respond to RFI’s and overall quality control inspection for soft & hard landscaping irrigation works.
•Evaluation of Method statement for soft& hard landscaping and irrigation works, O&M manual. Review the plant species selection, soil selection &analysis.
•Monitoring the progress on site and coordinate with client Representative.
•Inspecting contractor’s works for conformance with specification and local Authority requirements and provision of associated quality assurance documentation.
•Supervise the ornamental nursery.
•Coordinate with Design Engineers for resolution of related issues.
•Maintain a daily diary and the daily inspection reports.
•Coordinate with contractor on scheduling and application of resources.
•Direct, assist and monitor the performance of inspectors and surveyor as applicable.
• Convene and chair special meetings with the contractor, subcontractors and other parties related to the work.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of records. Ensure safety goals are achieved on the project and oversee implementation of safety procedures on the project
•Act positively and participate in all health and safety issues at site, as requested by senior management.
•Provide all necessary on-site direction and assist the senior management to issue site instructions with respect to landscaping and associated items; report back as applicable.
•Check and measure the performed works record and assist senior management to display progress vs. programmed work.
•Ensure correctness and completeness of ‘as-built’ drawings.
