HARINSA Qatar is a multi national company part of ECISA Group base in Spain. It had executed Many Prestigious Hotel Project in Doha.

Having gained valuable insight into MEP operations through many projects cycle my responsibilities have become increasingly managerial. The project in which I am involved now, as a main contractor has become much greater in size and responsibilities, which has allowed me to have a higher level of involvement throughout the process.


Management Responsibilities:
• Carrying out Site execution/Production management & commercial assessment of sub-contractor agreements, material Suppliers, manpower companies & identify the need as per project requirements & budget cost.
• Manage/ Mobilize Site Engineers/ QA-QC Inspector/ Material Engineer as per project requirements to achieve timely completion in line with Base Line Program.
• Provide technical clarification/direction to Design Engineers, CAD draftsmen & sub-contractors for engineering submissions & approval from a consultant.
• Submitting documents/ witnessing Authority approvals - QCD / KAHRAMAA/ Ashghal. Preparing Interim Payment Application/ Invoice & following-up payments.
• Represented as MEP in-charge in front of Client, Consultant & Sub-contractors for all matters related to MEP works ensuring compliance with specifications and project requirements.
• Carrying out the pre-tender process starting from evaluating/ assessing tenders, assessing risk factors to arrive at bid decisions, and estimating all the required material, equipment, and manpower needs to be able to arrive at reliable cost estimates for bidding the project.
• Provides all the necessary project clarification/ information upon project award to the PMO as per the project budget, and advises the PMO on contractual rights, and remedies that have been taken into consideration in tendering.
• Carrying out planning & scheduling of all major activities of the project to achieve timely completion of the project.

HATCO is a MEP contracting company executing many projects in Qatar, KSA and G.C.C.

As a Lead Project Engineer, I was handling multiple projects, leading site engineers for mechanical service execution, from Mobilization/ Control of Engineers - Staff - Manpower - Tools/ Equipment's to the Monitoring of Material delivery - Site Installation for HVAC-Plumbing-Fire Fighting-Drainage, following were few responsibilities which I executed:

• Provide professional support to management team, helping to ensure high quality service delivery & coordinated response to Clients.
• Prepare Site facilities plans and handle mobilization and site management during the construction phase of projects according to Company’s HSEQ procedures.
• Study of contract documents, specifications, and BOQ, for Value Engineering & record changes for Variation.
• Monitor / execute all construction activities & interface with the contractors directly by monitoring the progress of MEP works against schedule & quality requirements & solving & clashes between services on-site as per site.
• Liaises with Safety team in preparation of Risk Assessment, job safety analysis, safety report, attend tool box talks.
• Conducting Workshop meetings with Construction / Architecture / Structure team & resolving Site issues.
• Responsible for reviewing and coordinating the HVACs, plumbing, Fire Fighting, Fire Alarm, Electrical & ELV works.
• Leading, directing & monitoring the performance of all site Supervisors/ Foremen and support staff in the team.
• Supervise all on-site construction including subcontractors, resolve day-to-day problems on the job site and inspect all work during construction to ensure compliance with shop drawings & specifications.
• Preparation of Standard Operating Procedures, Method Statement, Test procedures & reports for machinery, systems & operation.

DNGO CONTRACTING SAUDI COMPANY is a member of Al Bayan Holding Group. The Company participated in various Projects for water and waste water projects from Ministry of Water, National Water Company, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Interior, Aramco and private sectors.

Job Description & Responsibilities:

• Performing design review of all Contractor submissions such as, designs, drawings & calculation reports for surge analysis, HVAC systems, plumbing & firefighting & material submittal related to pump, valve & mechanical pipework.
• Liaise with client, consultant, suppliers and engineering to facilitate project progress.
• Preparation of P&I Diagrams in coordination with process / electrical engineers.
• Coordination with related client/consultant engineers to approve process / hydraulic calculations.
• Handling all technical matters related to mechanical equipment especially material selection, material approval and procurement for Pumping Stations \{Submersible deep well, vertical turbine, End suction, Self-priming, Submersible Non clog, Surface pumps (End suction, Split case...)\}, Pipelines (Carbon Steel, Ductile Iron, GRP, Stainless Steel, PVC...).
• Developing, coordinating, and monitoring all aspects of design in regards to mechanical equipment; working together with the designer (CAD) to elaborate the equipment installation and piping drawings according to the supplier’s specification.
• Preparation of test procedures and reports for machinery and pipes.
• Reviewing the documentation of external designer and sub-suppliers.

• Study of contract documents, specifications, bill of quantities (BOQ), for Value Engineering.
• Reviewing technical submittals to verify compliance with specification & B.O.Q .
• Attending progress review meetings / technical meetings for resolving site issues.
• Supervise all on-site construction including subcontractors, resolve day-to-day problems on the job site and inspect all work during construction to ensure compliance with shop drawings and specification.
• Raising Material Requisition (M.R) & Liaising with the procurement department to negotiate with approved vendors/ suppliers and subcontractors for various supplies/materials per project requirements.
• Preparing Inspection Request / ITP / Risk Assessment / Method Statement for all the MEP Installation/ equipment/ Services for consultant approval and reviewing the same submitted by the sub-contractors.
• Issuing Site Observation (SOR), NCN to sub-contractor for non-conformities,
• Carries out inspection of day-to-day activities & reporting progress to the Project Manager/ C.E.O.
• Assigning tasks & Monitoring progress, quality & ensuring the safety of workers.
• Liaises with Site Store for developing & implementing strategies for procuring, storing and distributing material & consumables and maintaining stock levels, as per the project requirements.
• Coordinating with all trade engineers to prepare As-Built Drawings as per site conditions.

Job Description & Responsibilities:

• Preparing B.O.Q and Selecting Material as per the Project Requirement (Liaison with Procurement Team)
• Preparing Calculation Report & Shop Drawings for Site execution.
• Raising Material Request and Following-up with supplier for material delivery.
• Supervising the site teams to execute the work in the given budget and time frame.
• Reporting progress to Construction Manager coordinating with him to resolve any site issues.

El-Seif Engineering and Contracting.

* KASC (HES-001): King Abdullah Sport City (Athletic Stadium) Facility • Client/Consultant: ARAMCO • Designer: Hyundai

• Preparing Coordination Shop Drawing (Synthesis, RCP & Block Wall) (specifying coordinated levels of All MEP services, Resolving Clashes b/w the services) and submitting for consultant approval and site execution.
• Preparing Builders Work Shop Drawings (Slab openings, Shaft openings, Initial raft opening, Core wall opening, by coordinating with the Civil Structure, Architecture and MEP drawings)
• Conducting Workshop and meeting for coordinating with Construction / Architecture / Structure team for resolving the Site execution issues.
• Coordinating with Ceiling Contractor in preparation of final Ceiling Cut-Outs as per final MEP fixtures approved size and locations.

El-Seif Engineering and Contracting.

• Preparing / Reviewing Shop Drawings as per Approved Design and Material in the target time and submitting for consultant approval.
• Administer Engineers & CAD Team in preparation, review & submission of Mechanical service shop drawings for consultant approval & reporting progress to MEP Manager.
• Preparing Design Report and Calculation for All Building by liaison with Designers (BuroHappold) and submitting for consultant approval.
• Coordinating with Archi/ Structural Engineer for resolving any issues in Design / Shop Drawing Stage.
• Coordinating with all trade engineers for preparing Shop drawings and As-Built Drawings as per site conditions.

CAP France BAT is a electromechanical contracting company. The project that I worked includes Princess Noura University (PNU), Inter Continental Hotel. My responsibilities include:

• Checking project documents (B.O.Q, Specification, Design Drawings, Shop Drawings) for HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting system for site installation as per the schedule.
• Preparing layouts with AutoCAD drafsmen for sectional detailed shop-drawings and floor drawings for site execution.
• Performing manual and computerized Heat Load calculations/ ESP / Pump Head - Flow - Demand/ Pipe sizing for preparing Shop Drawings as per the project requirements, Considering International Standards. (ASHREA, SMACNA etc).
• Taking Quantity Take-off, raising material request, arranging supervisor - formen - technician teams for Ducting, Chilled water, Fire Fighting and Plumbing installation.
• Responsible for preparing Method Statement/ Material Inspection Request/ Installation Inspection for the HVACs, plumbing, and Fire Fighting works.
• Following-up Suppliers, receiving/ installing the equipment's as per Approved Material submittal Selection, such as Trane, LG, Carrier, Zamil, Hitachi, and Volta’s.
• Liaison with civil engineers and civil contractors and extending technical support to complete project within time frame.

MECU Ltd is an ASX listed Building service company base in Brisbane. As Mechanical Site Engineer with a Trade Contractor license. I assisted the Project Engineer. My responsibilities include:

• Assisting senior project engineer in designing complete HVAC systems for Infrastructure buildings.
• Equipment selection (FCU/ AHU/ Fans) as per design calculation for buildings.
• Execute Installation of Diffuser, Grills, Supply, Return, fresh and Exhaust Air System & ducting.
• Execute Installation of Chilled water piping and Plumbing piping network.
• Review, select & process all mechanical technical submittals.

MECU Ltd is an ASX listed Building service company base in Brisbane. As Graduate Engineer. My responsibilities include:

• Giving customers and clients liaison for HVAC installations.
• Monitoring & Assigning tasks to the site staff, report work progress to the Project Engineer.
• Monitoring the work progress, quality control & ensure the safety of the workers.
• Operating various measuring, diagnostic and testing instruments.
• Estimation of HVAC, duct material take-off and preparing B.O.Q’s.
