a) Assists in the planning, design, documentation, and implementation of various systems to include desktop PC’s, servers, network equipment, and software applications. \nb) Assessing vendors quotations and proposals and reporting results to IT manager. \nc) Monitors and maintains the use of the photocopiers and printers \nd) Develops, maintains, and monitors procedures for all server backups \ne) Monitors, plans, and coordinates distribution of client/server software and Updates. \nf) Configure, troubleshoot, backup and create VLANs….. on 3com switches. \ng) Manage and configure wireless Networks through 3COM wireless manager. \nh) Makes recommendations for new equipment and services to purchase and works with various vendors for procurement. \ni) Perform on-site and remote technical support. \nj) Administration and support for Attendance System and punching machines. \nk) Assist in the organization and inventory of all hardware and software resources. \nl) Maintains DMS back office System including all modules: ACR, ACP, General Ledger, Payroll, HumanResources, Purchasing, Inventory, Cash, Banking in addition to Pharmacy Module. \nDuties include: \n1-Managing setup files and system parameters and configuring setup and workflow for the application. \n2-Reporting errors and bugs and Updating software version. \n3-generating reports as needed. \n4-Configuring Integration between Front Office modules and Back Office Modules. \nm) Support and troubleshoot and report HIS interface with GE medical Systems. \nn) Creates and maintains good technical documentation. \no) Provides emergency on-call support on a rotating schedule. \np) Monitor, maintain and backup Oracle database: \n(i) Tuning and performance monitoring of Oracle Database \n(ii) Did Migration from Oracle 9i to Oracle 10g in a clustered environment. \n(iii) Patching database when needed. \n(iv) Troubleshoot problems regarding the databases, applications and development tools. \n(v) Implementing and working with RMAN \n \nq) Performs other duties as assigned. \nSystems maintained are : \n1. HP Data Protector (for backups) \n6. Websense Email Security(Mail filter) \n7. Dragon’s Naturally Speaking (Voice recognition software that allows the physicians to orally dictate their notes to the electronic system). \n8. 3COM wireless Manager . \n9. Fortigate 310B Network Appliances.
