Affordable House company is a (Closed Placement Co.- capital SR 250M) that belongs to Bin Saedan Real Estate Group of Companies. I have established the company and I am responsible for:
- Developing & Executing the strategic plan for the company (Finance, Sales & Marketing & Business Development)
- Overall Supervision of the Company’s operations, Business Developments, Public Relations & Strategic Planning.
- Coordinating with the Board of Directors in order to achieve planned goals and visions.
Major Achievements of the department were :
- Restructuring the IT Department with Manpower Reduction of 70%
- Developing a set of policies & procedures.
- Making an IT Strategic Plan & departmental yearly budget.
- Development of some special Real estate Software that represent the internal Know-how.
- Studying and selecting an ERP & CRM Systems.
- Implementing a new ERP & CRM (Scala System ).
- Improving the IT infrastructure in the company.
- Demobilization of a sister IT Company.

- Studying new opportunities for the company in Real Estate.
- Supervising the mobilization of new developed companies.

● Director, Planning & Information Technology at Aqar Holding Company (One of the biggest real estate group of companies in the Kingdom- part of Al-Salam Group); reporting to the Vice President, Finance & Administration. Responsibilities include:
- Building new IT departments with its full services for the group & and its subsidiary companies.
- Developing a functional IT strategy that integrate all business processes and establish an organization-wide data bank.
- Developing IT Standard Operating Procedures & Policies for the group.
- Developing IT Help Desk Services for the company.
- Building 4 LANs in four cities (CISCO based)
- Building a WAN between them and between the foreign branches in Amman, Dubai, Khartoum & Beirut.
- Building a call centre.
- Selecting & Implementing, ERP system for the group, web enabled applications & cluster servers.
- Recruiting the needed IT manpower.
- Managing all office automation tasks (archiving system, web sites, ..etc.)
- Preparation of IT budget for the Group.
- Standardize all hardware & Software.
- Qualify suppliers, define preferred vendors and create Service Level Agreements (SLA).

● Director of IT Operations at SIMTIX Company (Part of Al-Salam Group) starting July 2004. SIMTIX is an IT company specialized in software development, mobile & wireless applications, IT outsourcing. Previously SIMTIX was owned by Apexion Co. which has been purchased by Lawsson Co. in USA.
I am reporting to the CEO, and my responsibilities include:
- Developing the IT Outsourcing Division.
- Select strategic partners and sign agreements with them.
- Member of the Business Development Committee in Saudi Arabia.
- Manage all the projects for Saudi SIMTIX.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer of the Hospital.
Responsibilities include:
- Administration, proper management and quality of services of Computer & Hospital Information Department for all activities (Training, Applications, Network, Database and Office Automation).
- Consults with hospital management to define boundaries and priorities of tentative projects, to discuss equipment acquisitions, to determine specific information requirements of management and medical staff and to allocate operating time of computer systems.
- Establishes work standards, assigns, schedules and reviews work of department personnel.
- Develop new set of policies and procedures for the department.

- Implement the new ERP system, there were 250 workstations distributed between the Hospital (190) and three remote Primary Health Care Centres (60). The database is Oracle. The main system is RS 6000 (RISC machine). The operating systems are AIX and Windows NT; The hospital and the Remote Clinics are connected through Digital Leased Lines with the replication technique in the database. We had 26 modules for the applications (ERP) from Data Management System Co. (DMS) distributed between Hospital, Clinical, Financial and Support Services.

● Oct. 1996 - June 1999 (Group MIS Manager), reporting to the Vice President, Marketing & Support Services of ASG. In this capacity, I was responsible about all Management of Information Systems (MIS) Department’s activities in the corporate office and in all projects under ASG companies in the Kingdom and Gulf. Responsibilities include:
- Develop policies and procedures in the department, recruit new staff (I travelled to India and Lebanon for this purpose),
- Overall administration of the department in all aspects, mobilization/demobilization for the company’s projects regarding Information Technology (IT),
- Outsource and purchase required IT hardware & software.
● June 1995 - Sept. 1996 (MIS Systems Analyst & Supervisor). Responsibilities include:
- Novell & NT Administration, supervising seven HP 3000 mainframes in different locations in the Kingdom.
- Moreover, I was the Project Leader for redeveloping all the applications of the companies from old COBOL HP to ERP GUI applications under CA-Open Ingres RDBM. I was supervising all the stages of the Software Development Life Cycle. We succeeded to produce 14 modules in Finance, Logistics, Maintenance and Support Services.
(Computer Technical Support Engineer and Assistant Technical Manager). Responsibilities include hardware support for PCs, Hubs, Novell installation & administration and systems analysis and design.
 Worked as a trainee at the control room of the nuclear accelerator in the Energy Research Laboratory at KFUPM (KING FAHD UNIVERSITY OF PETROLEUM & MINERALS) under the supervision of Dr. Hashem Yamani (The current Minister of Industry & Electricity in the Kingdom)
