Responsible for getting any new product information
and training paperwork to cashiers.
§ Records daily transactions from cash register to balance
drawer by counting money at the beginning and end
of each shift
§ Accurately create monthly schedules and daily floor
plans for the cashier staff based on projected sales and
prior schedules while following policies and procedures
§ Create and coordinate training schedules for new cashiers
§ Perform mathematical equations, perform operations
using currency, measurements and understanding
percentages
§ Provide cash posting information to business units daily
§ Addressing customers' requests, comments, and
complaints.
§ Address all customer inquiries and issues in a timely
manner
§ Work closely with management and staff to develop
more efficient ways of processing data, automating
manual processes whenever possible
§ Supervise accounts receivable posting to customer
accounts, maintaining the integrity of the accounts
receivable records and accuracy of cash application
Maintaining retail floor standards.
§ Maintaining visual & merchandising standards
§ Monitoring stock movement & ordering according
to requirement
§ Handling cash counters & cashier
§ Training, guiding and motivating staff
§ Managing guiding and motivating staff
§ Reviewing staff performance and appraisals
§ Implementing statutory and legal requirements.
§ Controlling variable costs through cost efficiency
and planning
§ Joint promotion with other related company's
§ Handling shop security
§ Direct contact with supplier and reordering
