audio and Haars Wavelet transform for video sequences. Technologies

Developing internal deployment tools, transcoders. Building SRT Hub
solution for SRT stream contribution, Web app for deploying and
managing transcoding / packaging platform. Supporting OTT platform for
major Telcos in Balkan region (Serbian Telecom, Croatian Telecom,
Macedonian Telecom, Montenegro Telecom). Technologies used: Linux,
Nginx, Go, C/C++, FFmpeg, Googles shaka packager.

Developing live streaming platform for churches during COVID-19
pandemic. Mobile applications for rapid coronavirus tests. Whatsapp bot
to redistribute daily newspapers. Tools for managing IVR telephony
setups. Backend / frontend web app with Google Text-to-Speech API.
Technologies used: Go, JavaScript, SwiftUI, Nginx, Wowza streaming
engine.

Daily support operations for one of the biggest CDN provider. Working
directly with HAProxy team, internal tooling and video quality. Commandline
utility for inspecting CDN edge / resources online status. Commandline
utility for inspecting MOOV atom position inside MP4 files.
Supporting biggest streaming services (e.g. PornHub). Technologies
used: Go, C/C++, Linux, HAProxy, Nginx.

Developing IMS (IPTV Management System) platform for provisioning
hospitality IPTV devices, Multicast and unicast playout system, MPEG2
and MPEG4 transport streams decoder, Netboot server. Technologies
used: Go, JavaScript.

Developing and deploying HbbTV Catch-Up TV solution. Customers such
as: ORF Austria, Stadtwerke Konstanz Germany, TV-COM Liechtenstein,
Databaar Switzerland, etc. Maintenance of APT repositories.
Technologies used: Node.js, Javascript, Lua, FFmpeg, APT.

Developing high-density H.264/H.265 video transcoder platform based
on Intel Quick Sync and NVIDIA NVENC technology. Transcoders are
managed through controller application. Technologies used: Node.js,
JavaScript, MongoDB, InfluxDB.
Building central exchange service for local TV stations in Serbia.

Using Elasticsearch, Logstash and Kibana to aggregate and visualize all
metrics data from OTT platform and CDN.
Day-to-day infrastrucure operations and support for variety of clients
(telcos, cable operators, TV stations, political parties, etc.)
Responsible for adopting DevOps philosophy in day-to-day operations.
New automation and app deployment model using tools such as Fabric
and Ansible.
Architecture, design, deploy CDN for Live and VoD streaming using HLS
and MPEG-DASH protocols. CDN is based on nginx as caching proxy
with load-balancing and geo-blocking mechanisms.
Installing and maintaining Percona XtraDB Cluster (Galera multi-master)
as well as LEMP and LAMP stacks with Nginx or Varnish caching layer.
Architecture, design, deploy Cloud Management Platform (OpenNebula)
for hosting OTT platform based on KVM virtualization. Making VM
templates per VM role.
Installing and maintaining storage layers with NFS and GlusterFS.
Maintaining VMware ESXi infrastructure with cache, application,
database and Wowza Streaming Engine VMs for telco company (HT
ERONET d.d.).
As consultant worked for Turk Telecom, Ankara Turkey, on IPTV, WebTV
and MobileTV platform assessment. Benchmarking of encoders, finding
optimal settings and disaster recovery plans.

Developing billing application based on CDR data from Asterisk.
Developing predictive dialer application for call centers.
Over 30+ Asterisk PBX installations in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Variety
of protocols and devices are used on these PBXs (SIP, IAX2, SCCP, ISDN
PRI, ISDN BRI). Customers such as: Foreign Trade Chamber of Bosnia
and Herzegovina, Ministry of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina,
Sarajevo Taxi, Valicon, etc.
Installing and maintaining OpenVPN servers.
Installing and maintaining hosting infrastructure that supports PHP, Ruby,
Python, Node.js applications and MySQL, PosgreSQL databases.

Designing and implementing campus computer network for Faculty of
traffic and communications, University of Sarajevo. Using pfSense as
router, firewall.
Drafting information security document in accordance to ISO
27001:2005 security standard for clients.
