Worked on a DHC Project at Indian Petrochemical Company Ltd. Modified and Prepared PFDs, P&IDs Process Equipment list, Pipeline sizing list, Logic diagram, Interlock system and configuration on Yokogawa DCS
The largest inorganic chemicals complex producing Soda Ash, Salt, Caustic Soda and many more Marine Chemicals from seawater, and lime stone as main raw materials located at Mithapur in Gujarat State. The Gas based plant, manufacturing Ammonia(1700TPD) & Urea (2*1150 TPD) from Natural Gas and naphtha as raw material based on lowest energy consumption plant was commissioned in Dec 1994 in Tata Chemicals
Training (reporting to VP-HR, admin & Community Dev & also to President-Tata Chemicals)
Conducted and facilitated innumerous awareness and advanced Training programs in HSE, Technical, Managerial and Behavioral skills
Conducted & designed various Employee satisfaction surveys. Designed Identification of Training needs Format. Modification in HR Process thro TBEM (Tata Business Excellence Model) based on “Malcolm Baldrige Award”. Active involvement all HR initiatives in Preparing & planning Balance Score cards (BSC), Vision, Mission statements Organizational Goal setting Matrix.
Played a key role in training, and implementation activities including Auditing and training on quality systems viz. ISO 9001:2000, integrated ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001, 6 Sigma, 5S and Tata Business Excellence Model, 5 star British Safety Council, Managerial and Leadership Skill Development Programs, Employee Satisfaction Surveys, Goal setting Matrix, PMS, SAP-HR
Established Training functions in the newly commissioned plant.
Designed and monitored training programs to GET’s, Technician Trainees and monitored performance of 60 trainees per year and arranged in-house and External training for 200 employees.
Training to newly recruited Trainees and Apprentice trainees under Apprenticeship act 1961. Summer/Project Training to PG & Graduate students. Organized in-house and external training programs for all stakeholders and handled the entire HR gamut and employee relation, IR and administration activities with employees and local communities
Achievements:
As the first Training Officer of Tata Chemicals for designing and establishing the entire Training function in the plant. Established and Implemented HR Processes, Talent Management, PMS, OD (Organizational Development), and Change/Transformation Managements across the organization and as a Member of Core group Committee of Tata Business Excellence Model
Actively involved in project execution of Urea Plant, commissioning and pre- commissioning activities of Urea & Bagging plant of 2600 TPD based technology from Snamprogetti and Haldoe Topsoe
