Provide research assistance to Prof. Mehmet Karata
o Use Machine Learning techniques to detect DDOS and track botnet behavior
Responsible for compliance and maintenance of PCI-DSS and corporate standards, as well as policies.
o Provide recommendations to the Executive Officers on IT policy and best practices.
o Improve efficiency of Property Operations workflow and therein improved Engineering department
service approval ratings.
o Project management of application rollouts, end to end implementations and application upgrades to
comply with Starwood IT applications policy and compliance.
Assist Faculty with their SAP installation, setup documentation and training needs
o Prepare detailed SAP technical documentation
o Assist in IT Department server and application maintenance
o Assist in student helpdesk rotations
Responsible for communication with customers; identify and translate their requirements
into specifications that established the scope of work and evaluate business needs.
o Identify various operations inefficiencies and re-engineered these processes to function at a cost-
effective and efficient output.
Identify low-performance sectors of modules and various business processes and provide
recommendations, ABAP code review
o Effectively worked and resolved implementation issues with the corresponding modules: Batch
Management, sales order processing, management of orders and materials, billing/inventory control
modules
o Spearheaded EDI interfaces setup and Tidal batch job migration project
