Social Worker, Blumont, Amman, Jordan.
Responsibilities:
• Case identification, verification, assessment, and follow-up through Home visits.
• Follow up on vulnerable cases in coordination with the supervisor, UNHCR and the concerned service providers.
• Referring all cases visited, received and identified to UNHCR and the concerned service providers.
• Oversee, monitor and follow up with Volunteers on the camp districts.
• Supervising and monitoring the work of volunteers through quality visits and reviewing the daily reports.
• Prepare and submit weekly and monthly plans to achieve the assigned target. And prepare weekly and monthly reports to the direct supervisor and the data management Component.
• Plan and implement activities with emphasis on the inclusion of PWDs and older persons.
• Presenting the Components’ work internally and externally, when needed, and attend camp’s working groups’ and meetings.
• Encourage refugees to engage and enroll in all Blumont activities as well as support community-based initiatives, with emphasis on vulnerable cases.
• Assist in the organization and implementation humanitarian international events, such as World Refugee Day, 16 Days of Activism, etc.
• Support other colleagues as per the supervisor’s request.
• Report achievements, challenges and trends faced in the field.
• Immediate field incident reporting and report any urgent cases and challenges to the direct supervisor and UNHCR.
• Weekly statistical and narrative reports for all achievements in the assigned area of districts.
• Team daily meetings with the team and the direct supervisor to discuss challenges and work related matters and ways to improve and develop the used tools.
• Ensure the full confidentiality and to encrypt files on the case management data.
• Daily follow up with the team, volunteers and the beneficiaries on some sub-projects, such as the alternative collectors, medical beds, wheelchairs, mobility aids, health issues and NFI distributions.
• Participate in full vulnerability assessments, needs assessments monitoring, and other related activities as required by Blumont and UNHCR.
• Other duties as needed or requested by BLUMONT or UNHCR teams.
Community Mobilizer, International Relief and Development (IRD), Amman, Jordan.
Responsibilities:
• Assist Project Coordinator in providing leadership and oversight to the project planning. Represent the project as appropriate in workshops, meetings, NFI distributions and public forums when necessary.
• Actively support the human resources, and processes of Community Based Organizations (CBOs) in Amman and Zarqa' and other potential sites.
• Provide supervision and ongoing support to CBO members, drop in activities and project volunteers.
• Organize regular meetings and trainings with CBO members to promote continuous quality improvement of project implementation. Ensure ongoing exchange of information between CBO senior staff members and IRD project senior staff.
• Ensure CBOs’ quality financial reporting, data collection, proper reporting and documentation to IRD project staff including monitoring and evaluation team.
• Assist the program coordinator in community health outreach aspects including CHVs communication, trainings, field visits, logistics, data collection, and follow up.
• To assist CBSR project activities as much as it is required in coordination with the other components.
• Participate and fully engaged in NFI distribution, assessment or any other work required by IRD program in the Camp.
• Assist in the development of all project related surveys and other appropriate field-based studies and ensure that they are approved and coordinated by IRD senior staff. Provide support to the Project Coordinator to manage project information as a tool for planning and managing the project effectively with participation from community groups and volunteers.
• Ensure effective implementation of the Project Work Plan. Ensure that project activities are carried out in the target area according to the project’s agreement requirements.
• Assist in preparing & providing administrative duties with all related reports and project documentation and information.
• Assist in preparing & finalizing all related documents of the project.
• Report directly to the project coordinator.
International Relief and Development (IRD), Amman, Jordan.
•Manage the project related filing system which allows for easy identification of project related documents, and to insure that documents/papers/letters are filed in right place.
•Help with preparation of any training, meetings and events related to the project.
•Assist with "cash assessment" reporting and data keeping requirements.
•Assist with translation of the project documents that will arise during the project life time.
•Coordinate with UNHCR staff on matters related to UNHCR & IRD data entry.
•Coordinate with CBOs on matters related to CBO rental, storage of NFI items.
•Help in preparation of the project bi-weekly/ monthly/midterm & final reports.
•Assist in writing and editing of "success stories".
•Other duties as assigned by the program manager.
