Responsibilities
I helped during my work at the Media Manager’s office in the preparations of DP’s press conferences, in terms of contacting journalists, sending press invitations, translating press releases and preparation of press kits, meeting DP’s visitors to give them an idea about the company’s profile, works and projects. I also managed some of the administrative tasks in the media department, such as management of the filing system, writing, and translating circulars for distribution among other departments.

I mainly handled the translation of all the letters and correspondences in the department into English or Arabic. I also handled the Deputy’s agenda and travel arrangements. At some occasions I had to resolve all the issues communicated by VIP foreign customers of Etisalat by responding to them with elegance and patience, directing them to the right staff. I supported as well other members in the department in various day-to-day administrative tasks, like stationary requests and updating the HR Department on employees’ sick leaves and vacations and other requests pertaining to HR. I also ensured that all the offices’ equipment is running effectively, communicating with the IT Department, in case of any issues occurring.
