* Liaising with buyers, analysts, stores, suppliers and
distributors;
* Controlling stock levels based on forecasts for the season;
* Price reduction suggestion based on the movement of slow
selling stock.
* Meeting with suppliers and managing the distribution of stock,
by negotiating cost prices, ordering stock, agreeing
timescales and delivery dates and completing the necessary
paperwork;
* Managing, training and supervising junior staff.
* Prepare reports and insights on sales, stock value, shrink,
return, supplier service level & availability.
