• Liaise with customers for pre-sales/post-sales activity via phone/email to gather/reconfirm all technical requirements to ensure a competent and deliverable solution is designed and ensure that any solution has been validated by following internal processes
• Gather and present all external costs associated with the network design internally to the sales team for bid pricing and ensure customer satisfaction by suitable and adequate communication with the customer
• Solutions provided with Cisco series routers - ASR 1000, 7200, ISR G2. Switches-6500, 3600, 3700. FWs like, ASA 5500-X series. Juniper MX and SRX series and AAN equipments like Riverbed.
• Responsible to conduct auditing on WAN/LAN of various customer networks based on design part. Identify the risks/vulnerabilities on the design and prepare the report on network improvement plan.
• Coordinate & Own the complete life cycle of RFP to Proposal including preparation of effort estimation
• Work with the respective horizontals within & own the preparation of the complete technical bid
• Work with the respective 3rd party vendors as applicable for a bid & facilitate the collation of the complete bid
• Manage the Pre-sales presentations with the customers post the submission of the proposal based on new technologies and products in the market
• Develop strong technical relationships at the highest levels within the account(s)
• In depth knowledge on TCP/IP, MPLS VPN, IPSec VPN, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, QoS, IPV6 and Switching.
• Responsible to prepare the LLD/HLD document on the network connectivity across glob this includes MPLS and IPSec VPN. The document should have the details on complete routing on MPLS Network as well as Integration on SIP locations.
• Conduct product trainings on a periodic basis to end customers and partners
• Provide both strategic and day-to-day technical expertise and support for accounts/customers in the assigned territory.
• Responsible for designing and implementing network setup based on the customer’s requirement and preparing HLD/LLD documents and handover the same to NOC team and managing/leading the team for support..
• Responsible to conduct Auditing on LAN and WAN of various customer network based on design and configuration part of the critical devices (Routers, Switches and Firewalls). Identify the risks/vulnerabilities on the design and configuration part and prepare the report on network improvement plan. Arranging call with customer to discuss on the report and need to take approval for further execution
• Responsible for trouble shooting and handling all escalated issues related to network and security domain for various customers of Wipro and lead/up skill the team at NOC for handling the issues effectively and provide the support for preparing and sharing KM/SOP documents.
• Responsible for asset management, change management, configuration management, up to date network related documentation like SIP, Architecture Diagrams etc. Responsible to review/approve scripts related to any changes in Network for various customers.
• Delivered more than 15 training programs on Advance MPLS, Advance Routing/Switching and Basics on Security for the Wipro employees (Level 2 and Level 3) as a part of Up-Skill program. Responsible to manage and maintain all training programs in Wipro by preparing documents related to specific account and maintaining a database for the employees to categorize the skill set.
• Responsible to handle ASR series routers with Zone based FW enabled and Security devices-ASA, Fortigate and Checkpoint FWs
• Managing/Leading NOC team for support. Responsible for designing and implementing network setup based on the customer’s requirement and preparing documents and handover the same to NOC team for support.
• Worked with Cisco team for designing and implementing the network contains Cisco ASR 1004 Gateway Routers, 6509 Catalyst Switches, ASA 5550 Adaptive security appliances and Cisco IPS 4260.
• Establishing MPLS network connectivity around 300 sites across KSA by installing CE devices and connecting to PE of Saudi Telecom and providing access to the devices on these sites from the NOC room.
• Taken responsibility for doing an Audit across MPLS CE and PE devices on major sites and identified the gaps and same been documented and submitted to STC.
• Rolled out standard template as per Cisco standard which contains applying QOS by classifying voice/video traffic based on DSCP value on the layer 3 devices and configuring “ip sla” for monitoring and alert mechanism.
• Standardizing the switch ports connected with IP phones by applying QOS and configuring security for the ports connected with server/desktop to prevent STP Looping and other L2 oriented issues
• SME for GENPACT MNS team. Handling escalated network issues of GENPACT and GE backbone, which includes resolving Routing (BGP, EIGRP)/Switching issues for more than 250 Routers, Firewalls and Core Switches across the globe (India, US, UK, china, Romania, Hungary…), Internet issues, Link utilization and traffic rerouting on IPSEC VPN, MPLS VPN issues.
• Managing and maintaining LAN across Genpact globe. Troubleshooting all LAN related issues like STP Loop, HSRP, High CPU, QOS, and Port security.
• Configuration and administration of IP Phones (Avaya) with QOS applied on Genpact network for prioritizing voice/video traffic.
• Designing and implementing of IPSec site-to-site & remote access VPN tunnels sing Cisco Routers, 3030 VPN concentrators, Nortel contivity & Juniper SSL
• SPOC for Cisco CSS (Content Services Switch), Blade Switches configuration and administration
• Configured basic PIX outbound access configuration for access control, NAT and PAT, and security levels for inside network, outside network and DMZ on PIX 535 and ASA 5580-20.
• Administering various types of Network monitoring tools ( Ciscoworks, HPOV NNM, MRTG, What’s up Gold…) and ensuring proper monitoring and management. Effective use of “ip sla config” on routers for alert mechanism.
• Performing FMEA, Capacity planning, and preparation of monthly Dashboard which includes WAN uptime, Link utilization and Capacity breach reports…
• Responsible for managing and maintaining the networks of Sprint Nextel (ISP in USA) .
• I am a responsible person for maintaining all kind of Cisco routers and Switches having routing issues, QOS and as well as physical layer issues.
• Responsible for trouble shooting Nortel, Juniper and VPN concentrator devices.
• Having United States B1 Visa (10 yrs) to visit on site in yearly basis.
