Strategic Deliverables:
• Prepare the Yearly HR budget and measure and analyse results monthly based actual costs V/S the budget and initiate corrective actions.
• Developed a strong understanding of the business and work closely with management to participate in strategic decision making & realize the organization’s goal.
• Developed a Talent Management strategy by assessing current manpower & cost, forecasting new requirements & changes.
• Designed a Merit based Performance Management System and overseeing the performance management cycles for the company Biannually. Conducting trainings & appraisals; communicating results to employees & management; recommending best course of action.
• Undertake change management programs for each agreed initiative in the organization, partner with internal controls & department heads to impede the agreed HR organization developmental pattern in Deyaar. Develop potential solutions and recommend change initiatives as appropriate.
• Increase competitive positioning of the Deyaar brand by implementing salary increases based on performance as well as reviewing salaries as per market at least once every 3 years.
• Partner with VP - HR in the implementation of the strategic HR Plan, projects and initiatives to positively add value to both our business and employees.
• Partner with key stakeholders within Functions to ensure that all HR projects and initiatives are appropriately communicated and implemented on a local basis.
• Keep up to date with external developments which may impact strategy e.g. employment law and where necessary undertake research.
• Delegate effectively to the HR Officers. Ensure workload is prioritized and managed, and deadlines are achieved. Coach and develop the HR Officers as appropriate.
• Support, develop and coach HR Officers with their personal and professional development, ensuring that they are appropriately involved in operational issues and project work as appropriate.
• Support, develop and coach line managers in relation to their approach and consideration of people issues, ensuring that they understand the impact of these on the individual and the business.
• Contribute towards the preparation of reports (or any other assigned) to ensure accuracy, delivery, and compliance with objectives and commitments.
• Contribute and support the continuous improvement of HR systems, practices & policies in the organization
• Implement corrective actions raised under internal surveillance program to ascertain international standards and continuous improvement.
• Manage exit processes for employees, carrying out exit interviews etc.
