Machine Specialist
DUTIES
Responsible for high speed equipment as indicated below. Duties include fault finding, maintenance and repairs on following equipment:
• Star delta starters and Siemens S7 PLC's
• Connecting direct on line starters
• Wiring DB boards
• Motor maintenance, test and connecting
• Proximity switches
• Packaging department equipment ie
• Wrappers and palletizers
• Empty bottling inspections and bottle washers
• Date coders
• Packers, Unpackers & Depalletizers
• Bottle Washers & Fillers
• Connecting Danfos & VSD's
• Crate washers, Pasturisers, Conveyors and Temperature controllers
• Conveyors, Sensors and Thermocouples
• Machine Availability / Predictive Maintenance
• Maintenance planning and budgeting
• Root cause analysis and problem solving
• Continuous improvement (modifications to improve machine performance)
• Repair of breakdowns
• Ensuring all quality standards are met
• Root cause analysis and problem solving of deviations
• Process Monitoring / Safety
• Comply with all safety and lock out procedures
• Understand OHS Act
• Ensure all safety procedures are adhered to within the functional area of operation
• Ensuring all environmental standards are met
• Ensure good housekeeping practices
• Ensure machines and working areas are clean and aesthetically presentable
• Contribute to self and team development, including a preparedness to be trained to operate as a multi-skilled Artisan
