Nature of duties and responsibilities : (QA/QC ENGINEER)
A. Inspections and Monitoring of all works :
1.To follow and ensure compliance of procedures stated in Project Quality Plans through out the project.
2.Conduct site inspections and ensure that all works made at the site are in accordance with the approved standards, specifications, contract drawings and method of statements.
3.Prepare METHOD STATEMENTS for each new activity as stated in the Project Quality Plan and as required by the Consultant.
4.Assist QA/QC Manager in preparation of Project Quality Plan
5.Responsible for closing-out NON-CONFORMANCE REPORTS and NOTICES (NCR or NCN) and issuanne of Non Conformance Report (NCR) or Site Observations due to non- compliance of the construction department.
6.To maintain all the technical documentation related to quality assurance and quality control side.
7.Responsible for the work entire quality assurance, quality control and inspection programs,
8.Responsible for coordinating and arranging all other test as specification / Engineer’s requirements and follow up test reports from laboratory, reviewing and arrange submission to the consultant. These testing are as follows : Concrete Testing for concrete strength, workability, permeability, water content, compaction test (dry density test, in-situ dry density test), plate load test, strand test for post tension, coring testing, test for steel (including securing mill certificates), asphalt testing, testing of aggregates etc.
9.Produce all quality related documents and reports as requested by the client and check and coordinate with the client all work on site prior to commence.
12.Check and update the Plans and Drawings which the construction personnel used at site or stamped drawings if it is already revised.
13.Attend internal and external coordination meeting with the construction personnel and consultant.
15.Submit mock-up of materials and application at site to the consultant.

Safety Engineer at Consolidated Contractor Company (CCC)

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.Responsible for the overall safety performance of all workers in a specific job description assigned.
2.Ensure the implementation of the Environemnt, Safety and Health Plan.
3.“Leading by example” sending a message “Safety is Value”.
4.Communicate and discussed with his subordinates the safety requirements, jobsite bulletins, and other current safety regulations applicable to their areas of work responsibility.
5.Enforce the projects disciplinary programs, strict compliance to company’s safety policies and procedure.
6.Participate in weekly internal Safety Walkthrough & Inspection and clients Area Safety Assessment. Review and respond to safety observation.
7.Participate in accident investigation to determine its causes. Ensure accident reporting procedures are carried-out.
8.Responsible for the inspection of worksite to determine and identify the hazards and other safety concern and its immediate preventive and corrective measures.
9.To ensure that his subordinates are suitably trained and identify the safety training needs.
10.Conduct daily morning toolbox meeting and ensure the participation of his subordinates.
11.Prepare and present Job Hazard Analysis to ensure that all hazards and unsafe condition are being identified and preventive.
12.Ensure that all operatives under his control are informed of hazards and necessary precautions relating to their works activities and carryout the risk assessment upgrade required for any increase to the perceived risk.
13.Responsible for ensuring that his subordinates are wearing and using the proper and appropriate personal protective equipments at all times.
14.Review and incorporate comments on risk assessment and method statement as required from the Engineering Department and the Safety Department.
