1 .Supervise coordinate, and lead technical and sales teams.
2. Resolve maintenance tasks:
a. Receive requests from customer or sales.
b. Escalate the problem for better solution.
c. Assign tasks to the appropriate personnel technical or sales personnel, and schedule visits.
d. Trace task until it is closed.
e. Make billing decisions depending on warranty, Maintenance contract rules, and type of visit.
3 Receive reports from technical and sales teams and rise report to General Manager.
4. Control purchases and sales:
a. Contact dealers and suppliers.
b. Receive requests from salesmen and customers.
c. Case study of the request and provide the suitable solution.
d. Prepare offers
e. Order items
f. Schedule delivery date
g. Assign preparation and assembly tasks to technical people.
h. After assembly checkup:
i. Hardware: Check the functionality of all hardware items following the standard rules.
ii. Software: Check the installation off all required software (Operating system, Office tools, Antivirus, security, …)
i. Follow-up with accountant to issue the bills and with technical people to issue delivery notes and successfully deliver the order.
j. Control stock availability and request almost missed items from suppliers who give the best price.
5. Price and Provide Maintenance Contracts. Schedule regular visits of technical team.
6. Provide technical, network, software and hardware solutions
7. Network Installation and supervising: Windows 98, 2000, NT and XP.
SPECIAL ACHIEVEMENTS
8. Provide solutions for various technical issues concerning Worldspan and Galileo systems:
a. Printing,
b. Internet connections,
c. Running Worldspan and Galileo under different OSs.
d. Reduce cost of printing from $6000 per printer to $600
9. Manage relation between company and ISP companies in Lebanon to offer maximum support and reliability for Worldspan and Galileo system.
10. Support and hardware solutions
11. Found the solution to run Worldspan over the VPN network of Galileo to target Galeleo customers(early 90s).
12. Prepare complete study for various projects
a. Connect Lebanese PBX in Beirut (early 90s). completed but not implemented due to formalities in the Lebanese laws.
c. Case study to convert newspapers and magazines from paper to digital (early 90s). Badly Marketed in Saudi Arabia but not implemented.
d. Case study and implement Arabic translation of Internet Explorer in the beginning of the Internet era where Arabic language was missed.
