Highlights:
• Consistently exceeded annual sales targets across the retail product portfolio despite being considered amongst the highest in terms of pricing in the market.
• Established the Property Finance segment in retail banking and coordinated with the credit department to define credit criteria.
• Designed property finance product enabling buying properties under construction in Pearl Qatar and Lusail from developers.
• Launched the first Personal Finance Postponement solution in Qatar.
• Developed a variety of fixed deposits and a Shariah-compliant deposit breakage policy.
• Launched a comprehensive solution for financing against fixed deposits.
• Generated insurance fee-based income of over QAR 40 million by collaborating with Beema, the insurance provider and handling policies related to personal, vehicle and property finance in retail banking.
• Contributed to successful transition in terms of product migration, Shariah training and staff culture adaptation during the merger of Al Rayan Islamic Bank with Al Khalij Commercial Bank. Supervised the post-merger restructuring of the premier banking department and formulated a new strategy and roadmap.

Responsibilities:
• Led a team of Relationship Managers in building and leveraging corporate and institutional relationships and grow the Premium proposition for MAR products.
• Provided leadership to RMs and drove initiatives to increase penetration to the government, semi-government, and the private sectors in Qatar.
• Created synergy among the bank’s acquisition teams focusing on the increase in the Premium customer base as well as local corporate relations.
• Built a portfolio of HNW customers and led identification and exploitation of new business opportunities including acquisition of Qatari customers, tapping of the youth segment and acquisition of premium salaried customers.
• Developed and executed strategies for business development through company specific promotional offers, sponsorship of staff events and referral programs to acquire institutional relationships.
• Monitored, evaluated and controlled risks ensuring alignment of the premium customer portfolio with company norms and industry quality.
• Ensured achievement of financial - revenue and P&L as well as non-financial - customer satisfaction, cross-sell, operational excellence (service quality and turnaround time), compliance with QCB/Bank guidelines by guiding Relationship Managers.
• Provided analysis of feedback on customer perceptions/ preferences, customer needs, gaps in products/ services offerings and performance standards and in formulating and delivering solutions.
• Monitored and evaluated competitor activity and mapped best practices to implement action plans to maintain the bank’s competitive edge in the market.
