Project Description
Overall Responsibilities:
The day to day management and support of network infrastructure.
Ensure that network software is maintained and installed to the most relevant and up to date level.
Ensure that network hardware is maintained and available to meet required service levels.
Ensure network documentation is relevant and up to date.
Ensure relevant network components are monitored and future growth planned for.
Ensure all network changes are documented within the change management system.
Provide specialist assistance and input to all relevant projects.
Ensure Allianz Cornhill network design meets customer requirements while following industry best practice.
Ensure disaster recovery procedures are maintained and provide support for regular disaster recovery tests.
Keep abreast of new technologies and provide management with updates, where appropriate.
Keep network manager abreast of current and future workload and project progress.
SUPPORT and MAINTENANCE
Responsibilities
Ensure Support Magic is regularly monitored.
Ensure all faults are documented, escalated and resolved as appropriate.
Ensure all support related changes are documented accordingly.
Management of support calls with 3rd party maintainers.
Ensure all planned network changes are appropriately tested and do not impact service levels.
PROJECT WORK

Provide appropriate quotations for network hardware and software components.
Provide relevant network design and documentation for projects that change current network infrastructure.
