o Supervision & coordination of Control Rooms while guiding operational staff in the shift for safe, efficient & effective manner to utilize Ras Abu Fontas - A Desalination Plant which consists 0f 14 Multi stage Flash Evaporation units along with it’s Auxiliary plants which consists of Waste Heat Recovery Boilers, Auxiliary Steam Generators, Sea Water Pump Houses, Sea Water Electro Chlorinators, Distillate Treatment Plant & Product Water Forwarding Pump Houses to achieve production targets with quality final product of domestic water.

o Coordinating the scheduled activities with Generation Supervisor to prevent mal-operation and to ensure safe & efficient operation of the Station & and maintenance of departmental personnel for carrying out the planned/breakdown maintenance activities.

o Initiating Action process in response to alarm, liaison with external agencies like Telemetry Control, RAF B Control Room etc.

o Effective implementation of safety, Operation & Maintenance and approved Standard Of Procedures.

o Maintaining the operation documentation & database, assisting Shift Charge Engineer in preparation of daily water production.

o Initiating Defect cards on Automated Defect Cards Management System, Issuing/cancelling of Work Permit documents for relevant areas which include Plant isolations/de-isolations that will not disturb the process operations.
