My key responsibilities include:
• Check and evaluate daily MF and DPM performance with benchmark for accuracy and to supervise:
o Daily MF and DPM valuation, portfolio circulation to various business teams, account and corporate action updation.
o Updating Bloomberg with ( Cash, portfolio and Murabahs, Sukuks if any) as well as Ideal rating index and weights
o Publishing of (MFs and DPMs)PDFs, daily reports of portfolio, cash, executed trades and corporate action and circulating the same to various business heads and various parties(with whom we have the IMA) is one of the top responsibilities.
o Check and authorize all incoming SARIE for cash dividends, management fees, cash transfer
Achievements:
• I escalated for process optimization (accepting of cash dividends) which was adopted and made the process more efficient and effective.
• Became CMA-I accredited
• Corporate action notification is done on the same day of announcement and cash position update is done on the same day of distribution.
• DPM and MF fund valuations are done before market opening.
• Working towards getting Independent Custody License and providing clear direction on business objectives and translating and prioritizing into business performance measures
• Have prepared the Draft SLA and proposal for Equity Custody, Real Estate Custody and Administration Custody
• I have prepared the Draft Custody Manual and a Consolidated reporting template for DPM clients
