• Spearheading:
o Engineering of Distributed Control System(DCS) for the project, including bid preparation, bid evaluation and discussions and then the detailed engineering
o Designing of plant control system (gas turbine, steam turbine and balance of plant) in total one platform and its networking
• Supervising designing for security systems in plant such as CCTV, paging, telephone, LAN network
• Following up by meeting with the vendor and the client
• Assessing:
o Engineering and design requirement for plant performance system for the project
o Engineering and design requirement for administration computer system for the project
• Leading the engineering and design requirement for maintenance management system (condition and predictive maintenence system) for the project
• Played a key role as In Charge for finalizing the layout of Central Control Room
• Liaising closely with our major contractors such as Siemens, Man Turbo, rockwell automation for both gas turbine and steam turbine control system and balance of plant control system and resolving any issues related to design
• Preparation of Procurement Specification and Bid Evaluation.
• Engineering design review of all I&C related documents.
• Design finalization of Plant configuration drawing, IO list and preparation DCS procurement specification, bidding and finalization of vendor.
• Review of all P&IDs based on the client requirement and finalizing the instrument list based on the process requirement and thereafter coordinating various vendors for the technical discussion for the procurement of Field instruments.
• Cordination and review meeting with various departments for the finalization of buildings and its arrangement(Equipments and instruments).
• Preperation and design review of various systems and making sure the compliance with the client specification and finalization of the systems.
• Co-ordination meetings with various vendor inorder to obtain the inputs as well as the smooth moving of the project.
• Preperation of documents to furnish to the clients based on their specification and replying to the technical queries of client and getting the document approved inorder to release for material procurement and then to construction.
• In charge for all work related to Distributed Control System(DCS) such as installation of server, switches, I/O & marshalling cabinets, Fiber Optic cable connection, communication link establishment, modbus communication, loop checks and trouble shooting.
• Instrumentation related work such as Instrument installation as per Hook up drawing, terminations, Inst cable laying, conduit installation, JB installation, loop checks, discuss & finalize with clients changes required at site, carrying out inspection with clients based on ITP, preperation and verification of red correx documents.
• In charge for finalizing the layout of Central Control Room and carrying out erection works such as installation of control desks, cabinets, operator& Engineering work stations, LED displays, fire alarm panel, Large screen displays, Printers etc.
• Meeting, Co-ordinating and Closely working with our major contractors such as SIEMENS and ABB on issues related to design and finalizing changes to be done on site during Construction.
• Preperation of the documents to furnish to the client for their Approval.
• Hands on experience of installation of GAS INSULATED SWITCHGEAR(GIS) & its commissioning activities including High Voltage Test.
• Experience on Distributed Control System(DCS) related work, communication links, Modbus, loop checks and trouble shooting.
• Experience on Instrumentation related work such as Instrument installation as per Hook up, terminations, loop checks, discuss & finalize with clients changes required at site
• Project Engineering, Design activities like preparation of systems and Instrument Specification, control schematics, Inst. Stds., Function schematics, cable schedule, logic diagram, control room, field inst. Layouts, Technical Bid analysis, Inspection, Hazardous area equipment & practices.
• Meeting, Co-ordinating and Closely working with our major contractors such as ALSTOM and ABB on issues related to design and finalizing changes to be done on site during Construction.
• Technical review of all design documents and drawings.
• Review of all document & incharge for Site work related to Electrical and I&C work for HRSG(Heat recovery Steam Generator).
• Instrumentation related work such as Instrument installation as per Hook up drawing, terminations, Inst cable laying, conduit installation, JB installation, loop checks, discuss & finalize with clients changes required at site, carrying out inspection with clients based on ITP, preperation and verification of red correx documents.
• In charge for all work related to Diverter Damper (Electrical and I&C) such as installation of 400V Feeder, Local control PLC panel, Instruments, limit switches, cabling, Meggering, loop check, red correx preperation and commissioning of Diverter Damper.
• In charge for finalizing the layout of Central Control Room and carrying out erection works such as installation of control desks, cabinets, operator& Engineering work stations, LED displays, fire alarm panel, Large screen displays, Printers etc.
• Following up the work on-site such as Grounding, Lightning, small power lighting etc.
• Preparation of Electrical Equipment Layout
• Grounding Design and Details.
• Preparation of Procurement Specification and Bid Evaluation.
• Preparation of DCS I/O List and Detail Instrument List for the Plant
• Selection, Preparation of Specification and Bid Evaluation of DCS, Control Valves, Measuring Devices, Process Transmitter and Switches.
• Technical Review of all Subcontract Packages including Configuration Drawings for DCS
• Preparation of Layout Drawings for Control Equipment
• Preparation of Installation, JB Schedule, etc.
• Visit to on-site for the supervision of work and clarify and make modifications according to site.
