Responsible for refinery-wide Advanced Process Control applications of Honeywell & Yokogawa and RTDB (Honeywell PHD) for optimum operation at Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. Panipat Refinery.

Leading implementation and migration of RTO and APC controllers.
Maintenance and troubleshooting of APC controllers installed at various customer sites across
India, mainly focusing Indian Oil Corporation Limited refineries.
Training and guidance to fellow APC engineers.

Maintaining optimum plant performance by maintaining RTO and APC controllers.
Development, monitoring and improving KPIs using performance monitoring tools.
Supporting APC software upgrades.

Projects Handled
YANSAB- Team member in APC implementation project in YANSAB - Technip Ethylene Cracker, Yanbu, KSA. Scope of the project included Furnace-Hot section, Cold section, Gasoline Hydrogenation Unit.
KNPC Kuwait
Team member in implementation of APC controllers for the Naphtha Hydrotreater and Reformer units in Shuaiba refinery. Provided post implementation support for Shuaiba refinery APC controllers.
Team member for APC implementation in Ethane Recovery Plant for Mina Ahmadi refinery.
Implemented APC in CDU-Naphtha Stabilisers of Mina Ahmadi refinery.
Team member in Real Time Energy Management System (RTEMS) implementation using Visual Mesa tool in KNPC SHU refinery. The scope of the project covers refinery wide energy and utility optimisation.
Conducted a comprehensive APC benefit and scoping study for Sulphur Recovery unit for Mina Abdullah and Mina Ahmadi refineries.
RasGas Qatar
Team member for APC implementation in Liquefied Natural Gas plant in RasGas, Qatar-LNG Train-3/4/5. The units in scope were - Inlet Facilities (Feed gathering), Acid Gas Removal, Sulphur Recovery, LNG, NGL and Fractionation units of each train.
Provided post APC implementation support for maintenance and performance monitoring for APC controller. Developed APC performance reports and baselining of APC performance using Aspen Watch
Team member for PID control loops tuning project for Al Khaleej Gas plant, RasGas, Qatar.
GASCO Abu Dhabi
Conducted a comprehensive APC benefit scoping study for Habshan-1 and Asab-0 for NGL, SRU plant as a part of techno-commercial APC proposal.

3 years of experience in Ethylene Oxide and Ethylene Glycol operations at Shift In-charge and Panel officer
level. Supported in-house implementation of APC using DMCplus technology.
