Frigoterm d.o.o. (Frigoterm LLC) is the leading manufacturer in the field of industrial refrigeration plants. They offer a wide range of products including compressors, condensers and other refrigeration equipment for the dairy, brewery, meat processing and other related industries.
I worked from home. My job was to translate different types of documents and technical manuals which were either sent to me via email or delivered. All translations were divided in translation cards made of certain number of symbols. My earnings were based on number of cards i.e. the size of the document I translated. This position allowed me to have an additional income as Interpreter while working as full time Interpreter for Bajkmont LLC and later on as Sales Agent for Croatian Telecom.
During this period, I have translated number of documents and manuals which are still in use. CEO of the company asked me to even tutor his two children in English and German, which I gladly accepted as it was for me the sign of true recognition of my work and abilities.
Bajkmont LLC is one of the leading companies for fabrication and assembly of steel structures in region. Since its establishment in 1984. Bajkmont succesfully conducts business on Croatian and European markets.
As Interpreter, I had to translate different types of documents and technical manuals on daily bases and attend occasional meeting for simultaneous translating when needed.
During this period, I have translated number of documents and manuals which are still in use. Later in my career, as I became Corporate Account Manager, Bajkmont became one of my successful acquistions for Vipnet, as they agreed to transfer their mobile and fixed communications from Croatian Telecom. This shows the trust I gained during the period I have worked for Bajkmont.
