2. HPCL -Mumbai Refinery (Long term Direct Permanent Position -continue)
POSITIONS HELD IN HPCL: June 2008 to Oct.2013: Engineer - Inspection and Corrosion
Work experience of 5 Years 5 Months in the inspection division of a HPCL Crude Oil Refinery, Mumbai. This Refinery is owned by "HINDUSTAN PETROLEUM CORPORATION LIMITED" (FORMERLY ESSO REFINERY) and processing double stream Persian Gulf crude and also sweet crudes like Bombay High with total capacity of 5.5 MMTPA. There is also a Lube base stock Refinery.
In addition to the Crude Distillation Unit, Vacuum Distillation unit and Fluidised Catalytic cracking Unit there are secondary processing unit like treating unit for Virgin LPG & Cracked LPG, ATF, Hexane treating unit, DHDS, Hydrogen generation Unit, SRU, DM plant, asphalt filling plant, Steam generators, Gas Turbine generator.
Offsite area includes 154 no. of tanks including Crude Tanks and 312 loops of pipelines. Also there are 6 Horton spheres and 12 nos. of Mounded bullets also Separator and IETP plant.
External and internal inspection of pressure vessels, pipelines and storage tanks.
