Develop system designs for assigned projects in coordination with other Engineers of other disciplines & \Operations department personnel.
Develop drawings, specifications & scope of work for all discipline equipment associated with assigned projects.
Prepare scopes of work for the construction of in-house engineered projects.
Follow up through the bid evaluation & award of the contracts & coordinate with the site construction coordination personnel through construction, commissioning & handover of the facilities.
Prepare scopes of work for engineering consultants to execute work beyond the limited in-house engineering capacity.
Prepare material cost estimates as well as quantity surveying.
Provide technical support to Field Personnel & Operations Dept.
Responsible for the complete achievement of the project in compliance with specifications and within the agreed planning and budget.
Monitor and assign work to Site Engineers in accordance with Company’s policies and procedures and limits of authority.
Handle procurement activities relating to contracts and sub contracts in accordance with Company’s Procedures and Procurement department activities.
Undertake team briefings and inception activities to ensure all aspects of work are understood by all concerned parties.
Ensure safety standards and procedures are implemented and followed in accordance with contract requirements and Company guidelines.
Responsible and report on the scheduling of man/material movements for all aspects of construction and or maintenance activity.
Review and evaluate technical submittals and shop drawings prior to submission to consultants and clients according to required project standards.
Assist the Project Manager in preparation of Sub Contract agreements and to recruit people for his area of discipline.
