Katara Phase VI is the last part of a vast cultural master plan developed by the Qatari Government to foster culture-based tourism in its capital, Doha. Katara Phase VI is a mixed-use programme which includes mosque, residential, retail and hospitality, in addition to a public square, promenade and other leisure facilities. Nima is leading the residential design team and in charge of coordination with other discipline \[Structure, MEP, Landscape\] and advising on changes, possible concept solutions and documentation.

EPC contract on the 15-kilometer extension of the Dubai Metro’s Red Line from Nakheel Harbour and Tower Station to the Expo 2020 site. Nima is leading Line Wide Identity team to keep all the stations across the whole line in a same principle and language. It’s a challenging role to keep all 7 stations in 4 different prototypes align to each other with same virtual language in a tight schedule and intensive workload.

Nima moved to Doha and India to manage the multi-disciplinary design changes team of 7 I-Type and 3 X-type stations for coordination and integration of Rail Contractor and Branding Architects requirements along with buildability and construction solutions. He was the interface coordinator between different external and internal parties and global offices such as UK, India, Hong Kong and Qatar.
