Route 2020 Dubai Metro, Dubai, UAE - Value: AED 10.6bn
EPC contract on the 15-kilometer extension of the Dubai Metro’s Red Line from Nakheel Harbour and Tower Station to the Expo 2020 site. Nima is leading Line Wide Identity team to keep all the stations across the whole line in a same principle and language. It’s a challenging role to keep all 7 stations in 4 different prototypes align to each other with same virtual language in a tight schedule and intensive workload.
Katara Phase IV, Doha, Qatar
Katara Phase VI is the last part of a vast cultural master plan developed by the Qatari Government to foster culture-based tourism in its capital, Doha. Katara Phase VI is a mixed-use programme which includes mosque, residential, retail and hospitality, in addition to a public square, promenade and other leisure facilities. Nima is leading the residential design team and in charge of coordination with other discipline \[Structure, MEP, Landscape\] and advising on changes, possible concept solutions and documentation.
Nima moved to Doha and India to manage the multi-disciplinary design changes team of 7 I-Type and 3 X-type stations for coordination and integration of Rail Contractor and Branding Architects requirements along with buildability and construction solutions. He was the interface coordinator between different external and internal parties and global offices such as UK, India, Hong Kong and Qatar.
Nima was involved in the Gold Line Underground Metro Project in Doha, Qatar. Nima was Design team lead for the 2 Doha Gold Line I-Stations.
Nima has been involved intensively on the King Abdolah Financial District Metro Station, Saudi Arabia from the schematic design stage to coordinating information for the construction stage in ZHA. He has also worked on various stages of the Unilever Headquarters, Indonesia and the Macau Melco Crown, China and Jeddah Municipality Transport Planning, Saudi Arabia.
During these years, Nima has been involved with enormous amount of residential buildings, mostly high end detached and semi-detached buildings in London in all aspects of design and construction.
Nima Has been involved in many residential and multi-use projects along with Tehran and Shiraz metro stations.
