1. Analytical thinking to anticipate potential problems and risks that may occur in implementation of the project.
2. Problem-solving skills - team conflicts, budgetary restraints, and other obstacles often hampers the completion or implementation of the project, and providing solutions to resolve these issues.
3. Reviews the Contract Documents / Drawings, Project Specifications, Method Statements and other related Codes to be implemented on site.
4. Support Senior Architect to review Contractor’s submittals for all Architectural Works.
5. Attending progress review meetings and co-ordination meetings with the contractors to clarify and resolve any discrepancy on Technical Issues influencing design.
6. Monitor workmanship and ensure quality of Architectural Works with coordination to the site Engineer and QA/QC Engineers.
7. Preparation and issuance of Non-Conformance Reports, Site Instruction Notes as Site Architect and Acting QC/QA Engineer and the correct procedure for closure of the same.
8. Coordinate the Architectural Inspectors in the monitoring and supervision of all Architectural Works associated with the project.
9. Attends Inspection Requests and supervising construction with respective inspectors to ensure full compliance to Design/Shop Drawings and Specifications.
10. Review As-Built drawings ensuring they are true to the As-built Conditions, incorporating design changes, variations, approved materials, plant and equipment for Architectural works.
11. Preparation and implementation of a Snagging List / Procedure that includes processes in addressing outstanding Architectural works or defects identified prior to handover of the Project.
12. Report to Health and Safety any issues during the execution of the architectural works on site.
13. Providing support to Project Manager, Construction Manager and QC/QA Manager.
14. Technical Coordination with all allied Disciplines.
15. Preparation of Weekly / Monthly Reports regularly as required.
A. DAMMAM UNIVERSITY CITY-BOY’S CAMPUS (Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University)
1. Reviews the contract drawing, tender circular, project specifications and other related codes for implementation on site.
2. Reviews the Request for Information/ Clarification when there is discrepancy from the IFC drawings and other relative contract documents.
3. Coordination meetings with Contractor and other Disciplines.
4. Evaluation and approval of materials, Shop Drawings and General Submittals conforming to Project Specifications.
5. Evaluate Bill of Quantities and Variation or Change Orders claimed by the Contractor.
6. Monitor workmanship and quality of Architectural Works and coordination to the site Engineer and QA/QC Engineers.
7. Review As-Built drawings ensuring they are true to the As-built Conditions, incorporating design changes, variations, approved materials, plant and equipment for Architectural works.
8. Closing of Snag List and review of Handing-over Documents.
