As Business Development Head- Africa & India responsible to develop both India and Africa markets for the company.
Roles, responsibilities and activities include the following:
Identifying right channel partners/distributors in each country and in the major cities in the region
Closely interact with the senior Consultants /Specified/End user
Engagement with the leadership team in the client organization
Create value proposition for the client
Set up after market support team in the region
Product Positioning vis-à-vis client requirement & local statutory compliance
Develop sales team for the regions
Major Achievements in last 12 months
Successfully had soft launch in India for Sffeco products using FSAI platform, Consultants, System Integrators & PMC’s
Focused top down approach with customer has resulted in brand building & customer engagement
Travelled extensively to African countries and India to understand client need, our product positioning vis-à-vis client / competition
Finalized distributors for countries in Africa i.e. Kenya, Ghana, Uganda, Djibouti, Tanzania etc
Able to generate good response from India in terms of new enquiry & setting up distributor network
Four fold increase in enquiry generation & business from Africa
Increasing the loyalty / satisfaction of existing customers
As General Manager Strategic Accounts in United Technologies Corporation, Supports Business Units (BU) i.e. Vertical Transport (Otis), Climate Control, Fire Products ( Carrier, Toshiba ), Fire, Security & IBMS (Chubb, Edwards....etc ) primarily through top down approach, evolving value propagation, relationship management, product/ pricing management and strategizing/ leveraging on UTC global platform
P&L Leader, National Sale Manager responsible for Power Plant, Petrochemical & Transportation business in private as well as in Government sectors. Overall in charge of Brand building and Sales
