Working as a Contract Administrator for the construction of Sea Port and Oxagon community access road construction project under NEOM Project.
• Advise on all contractual and commercial issues on the administration of the contracts in order to ensure the implementations are in accordance with the approved terms and conditions of the project.
• Drafting Contractual Letters on behalf of the Engineer in accordance with the Contractual Documents, drafting and advice on agreements such as MOU.
• Maintaining and updating the Claims Registry and Variations Registry, overseeing the maintenance and updating of contractual correspondence.
• Actively involved in the Progress Review Meetings and Special Meetings held related to progress and Contractual issues.
• Evaluate and recommend Contractors’ entitlements for cost and extension of time claims
• Interpret the Contract conditions and terms whenever required
• Advise Consultant Team Leader and Employer (client) in terms of Contractual matters.
• Maintained effective relations with clients and contractors
• Preparation of cost reports, progress reports, cost tracking logs etc.
• Final checking of interim payment applications
• Assessment and Evaluation of Final Accounts.
• Prepare and finalize project statement at completions/ valuation at date of termination
• Participate in the kick-off meetings, progress review meetings and other special meetings.
• Maintaining and updating the Claims Registry and Variations Registry, overseeing the maintenance and updating of contractual
• Analyze and review tender drawings, review consultants pre-tender estimate and prepare BOQ for tenders and pre-tender estimates
• Take off the quantities base on the pricing preambles compile tenders bills of qualities with descriptions.
• Maintain vendor’s data base, floating inquiries of suppliers and sub-contractors.
• Analyze and compare quotations and prepare direct costs for the rates for bid pricing.
• Prepare budgets and detailed cost plans
• Draft RFQ (requests for queries) and get clarifications for tender preparation and prepare commercial clarifications in respect of tenders
• Review commercial sections of Tender documentation received from consultants
• Certifying and evaluating payment applications of sub-contractors.
• Preparation of interim payment applications
• Establish and Operate cost and financial control systems
• Validation of Variations, Preparation of budgets for variations
• Involved and was responsible for the preparation of Cash Flow and Budget of Contracts for the internal monitoring of the Project.
• Supporting in the preparation and analysis of tender documents
• Handle and monitor the project insurance and guarantees and sub-contract agreements
• Prepare extension of time claims and cost claim and Contract variation proposals
