Providing third party consultation to QD-SBG’s multimillion Dollar project for Lusail City on all the aspects related to QA/QC.
Working as a QA Manager for the project having total manpower more than 5000 people controlling team size of more than 8 Engineers
o Development and update of project based Project Quality Plan and integration of the same with Company’s existing QMS and Quality Manual including control system for formats and logs etc.
o Helping in Issuance and Closer of NCR and CAR either internal or external by QD-SBG client.
o Attending the project progress and Quality meetings for to provide updates of projects.
o Field Inspection related to QA/QC. Attending Quality Walk with client for site related issue and spot resolution.
o Auditing internal departments as well as subcontractors referring to ISO 9001:2015, approved PQP, QCS 2010 and contract documents.
o Development of Inspection and Test Plan referring to Contract Documents, QCS 2010, QCS 2014 and other specific standards.
o Inspection and monitoring of Site Laboratory activity related to construction activity and QC check requirements.
o Providing Support to QD-SBG for preparing work specific Method Statement referring to approved drawings, project specifications, contract document and applicable local and international standards.
o Development of Project Management Plans, Logistic Plan, Quality Work procedures in consultation with relevant department, etc.
o Communicating client requirement to related departments and assisting in finalization of Quality Objectives for each department and preparation of KPI’s for each department.
o Guiding each department on closer of corrective actions reports required by QD-SBG Consultant’s external Audit.
o Preparing and presenting training for QDSBG staff related to work including specialized training.
o Responsible for Project Closeout and related coordination with reference to Contractual requirements, legal requirements, special requirements, etc.
o Preparing method statement / SOP / Procedure / Proposal for CP07B Project.
o Handling team of about 8 Engineers with direct reporting for completion of QA and Project Close out related activates.
Project Civil Engineering scope evaluation and preparation of narratives for design engineering team and performing Design QC checks on the same.
Development of project bases quality procedures and plans.
Coordination with contractor, client, consultant and design team regarding progress and deliverable submission
Carried out Quality Audit of design, QC document, Material inwards checking, Quality certificates validation, Inspection test protocols, Method Statement, Construction documents.

•Assisting QA/QC Manager on successful implementation of QMS and performing duties of QA/QC manager in his absence.
•Inspecting Batching Plant, materials inspection and verification, manufacturing process of concrete, visit of source for material including quarries.
•Responsible for quality of all civil works including sub structure and super structure, checking of site construction activities, field and laboratory test verification.
•Carried out Quality checking of design, QC document, Material inwards, Quality certificates, Inspection test protocols, Method Statement, Construction documents.
•Carried out Quality Audits on subcontractors like Alstom, L&T, Thermax, SPIG, etc. for requirements of ISO 9001:2008, approved PQP and contract documents.
•Issuance of Non conformance report (NCR), site observation report Quality (SOQ) and Quality Punch list report.
•Implementation and review of Corrective action and preventive action for issued non conformities.

•Supervising and instructing subcontractor about Quality requirement of project and how to meet them.
•Project scope covered supervision of construction work for pile foundation, heavy foundation, machine foundation, water treatment plant, reservoir (rainwater and raw water), turbine deck, technology building, main control room, battery room, cooling tower, admin building, store, fire fighting building, testing of construction material, batch plan inspection etc.
•Providing job specific training to QA/QC team and subcontractors.
•Heading Weekly Quality Meeting and following up all the site related issues concerning to execution and quality of erection, construction, manpower and documentation.
•Ensuring that subcontractor’s pre-execution program includes and satisfies all the quality requirements related to jobs.
•Preparation and submission of Project Turnover Packages for Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation department for 6 different major subcontractors and more than 150 sub systems

•Certified QC Manager from US Army Corps of Engineering (USACE).
•Instrumental in representing HLH at all jobsite meetings with AED representatives, overseeing all QCM aspects of the project are maintained pursuant to the contract criteria.
•Provided training to subcontractors and helped to implement QCM system on field, guided them to prepare SOP, ITP, and issue of NC’s and monitoring of CA/PA etc.
•Managed the process of informing HLH Construction Department of any potential claims which should be pursued with AED due to delays and/or cost overruns which are no fault of HLH.
•Effectively carried out Optimization and quality check review of design and details on materials, fabrication time, and constructability and erect ability.
•Development of Project Quality Plan referring to company quality manual, contact documents and UFGS for construction works.
•Supervising and maintaining the project quality within the cost limit of each definable feature of work. So each construction definable feature requires my support for cost savings.
•Development of Standard Operating Procedures for the contract line items and providing training on the same to subcontractors.
•Auditing the subcontractors for their scope of job work on field and at their premises.
•Evaluation and verification of material, manufacturer before submitting to USACE for approval.
•Supervised various Task Orders located with KAF/ISAF base upon immediate mobilization.
•Provided required support to HLH management personnel to prepare organizational staffing chart.
•Successfully assisted the team to select/qualify and administer all sub-contracts/contractors which were issued by HLH for the respective project, and all other task necessary to maintain the administrative compliance of the project with the contractual obligations on behalf of HLH to the AED.
•Spearheaded the team of 30 person in staff + 7 subcontractors having total average of 600 workers on site.
•Carried out audit for subcontractor’s work on site and for their documentation, guided and reviewed materials and their certificates submitted by subcontractors so as to plan for 14 day prior approval from AED.
•This project covered bridge, roads, stone wall, waste water treatment plant, DFAC, Barracks, Bunkers, admin building, communication building, laundry building, Ware house, pre engineering building, grading and levelling etc
