Arrange import and export shipment from supplier and client via Air and Sea through forwarders.
Comparison of ratios with terms and conditions (EXW, FOB, DDP&DAP)
Arrange the documents (PI, PL, COO, BL, LC)
Arrange the courier to deliver online orders (Amazon, C&W Site) and from branches to local and internationally by DHL, Emirates Post, FedEx, UPS, and 3rd parties.
Maintain all the record in ERP SAP B1 & in Hard Files.
Procure the printing and packaging material locally
Search the market with competitive suppliers at a given budgeted price.
Help the International procurement department related to Hospitality items (Al Reem Hospitality Company) garments inquiries (Fabrics & Fabrics related Accessories).
Create Report on open and close PO & LPO payment plan for the supplier as per the terms and conditions (Payment Calendar).
• Receive distribute and maintain adequate quantities of stock at all items.
• Maintain optimal stock levels in coordination with purchasing department for RM/PM Items.
• Maintain stock and consumption records & ensure maxium inventory record accuracy (IRA %).
• Check incoming materials for quality and quantity against invoices. Purchase orders and packing slips or other documents.
• Manage supply and distribution of sales orders & achieve target order v/s Delivery (monthly landing target).
• Dispose of expired and waste stock according to the current procedure in coordination with finance department.
• Maintains cleanliness of the store and inventory as per safety and environmental norms.
• Minimize warehouse damage & expiries and ensure zero expiries.
• Supervise and motivate warehouse staff to realize targets of delivery, inventory & safety.
• Coordinate with 3PL service providers & fleet service providers to deliver in cost effective way.
• Track the periodic maintenance & service of material handling equipment (MHEs) & avoid breakdown maintenance cost.
• Prepare health certificate from Dubai Municipality portal and Montaji portal for FIRS & Payments and duty exemptions and other document clearance through Dubai trade.
• Manage logistics operations through land, sea and air freight, including organising & comparing quotations, contract management and monitoring operations.
• Checking and approving payments related to logistics activities.
• Organise global warehousing and storage facilities as per company requirement.
• Manage inventory approvals related to cargo releases, payments and invoicing related to warehousing, storage and cargo.
• Prepare all required documents related to the shipments & customs.
• Placement of purchase orders to vendors as per production requirements and follow up with them relating to warehousing, storage and cargo.
• Managing claims relating to cargo (For ex. Shortage of cargo, damages, quality claims etc. both with buyers and suppliers).
• Negotiation of freight rates with shipping lines, airlines, overseas agents, transportation and forwarding companies for all imports, exports and cross trade shipments executed by land, sea and air.
• Shipping goods to customer’s location.
• Clients: Ikea, John Lewis, Robinson, Honda, Ace hardwares
• Manage Logistics Operations, Warehouse and Procurement & Inventory for various clients in retail and wholesale business ranging from Electronics, Apparels & Luxury Accessories, Jewellery, Perfumes, F&B, FMCG, Home interiors, Furniture and automotive spare parts sectors.
• Follow up with shipping line for vessel schedules, container booking, on board confirmation and B/L release.
• Planning & coordinating with drivers for timely delivery of shipments to respective customers / Sea port / Airport.
• Timely submission of import & export documents to customs. ∙ Involvement preparing exit entry certificate for transit or re-export shipments
• Accountable for managing the overall P&L of logistics operations for the existing clients.
• Planning of stock allocation based on stock demand and store replenishment as per retail clients.
• Lead procurement including order processing, planning shipment and distribution.
• Identify and negotiate with new suppliers and enter new service level agreements and contracts.
• Managing inventory through SAP ERP system based on the client’s requirement.
• Ensure Quality Checks are performed for all export shipments as per customs regulations.
• Team management including work allocation and leading team of inventory and warehouse employees to receive and record new stock as its delivered and/or shipped out; ensure recording daily deliveries, evaluating new shipments and analysing different suppliers to obtain the best cost-effective deals.
• Prepare detailed reports on inventory operations, stock levels, and any inventory adjustments. Receive and escalate complains if any.
• Manage Home delivery teams for delivery of goods to end customers and retail stores, ecommerce & express delivery.
• Preparing operational KPI’s and billing reports for all the clients.
• Identify new opportunities, develop strategies, and execute those strategies to drive significant value to the business.
• Manage relationships with existing clients further leading to upselling/cross selling.
• Knowledge of Laws Regulations and INCO terms.
• Co-ordination with clients for import and export documents.
• Coordinate with shipping line, airline and transportation agents for smooth execution of shipments.
• Timely submission of shipping instructions, packing and commercial invoices list, export declaration as per cut off.
• Resolving the issues with a minimum time frame and satisfy the customer needs.
• Timely submission of import & export documents to customs.
• Involvement preparing exit entry certificate for transit or re-export shipments.
• Communicate with different vendors, partners, clients etc. to achieve profitable deals and mutual satisfaction.
• Plan and track the shipment according to customer requirements and provide tracing to the client all the time.
• Keep logs and records of each shipments, executed orders etc.
• Prepare accurate and required reports for upper management.
