Bahja Real Estate is a start-up in real estate development sector in Oman. As a head of the finance team, I was
responsible to decide best suitable ERP for the company, establish financial policies and processes, building the team,
infrastructure and systems to record financial transactions. Advising the owners on the compliance and
documentation requirements. Within Last 4 months have got the finance department established, got ERP, internal
networking, filing and other processes finalised.

Responsibility of company finance and administrative functions.

Responsibility for entire finance function of the group.

• Establishing and maintaining financial and management accounting procedures, consolidation of accounts of subsidiaries.
• Ensuring that appropriate financial regulations, budgetary and internal controls are in place and in use at all times.
• Ensuring that all finances are properly administered and monitored. Getting detailed budgets & business plan for the schools prepared and approved.
• Handling any new accounting, payroll, inventory, or related procedures, systems and controls.
• Coordinating internal and statutory audits and independently preparing financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
• Making regular reports for the management on income, expenditure and any variations from budgets.
• Feasible studies and financial modeling for new projects

Manager, tax advisory services advising clients from various industries on operating in Oman and possible options to set up new businesses, tax incentives and assistance in tax compliance work.

Advising multinational companies on tax effective tax structuring, assistance in tax compliance process.

Advising multinational companies on investments in Oman and related tax issues and opportunities. Assistance in tax compliance procedure.

MIS, Preparation of financials and responsible of auditing, review of investment companies financials, attending board meetings.
