Responsibilities
• Quantity take off and preparation of bill of quantities;
• Preparation of tender documents, estimates, contracts and budgets;
• Procure or agree the services of contractors and/or subcontractors who work on
the construction of the project;
• Price/forecast the cost of the different materials needed for the project;
• Assist Project managers with procurement on all projects;

• Quantity takeoff & Estimate preparation on RAI software for Infrastructure and Utilities related projects
• Compile market rates for material and sub-contract works and prepare comparison sheets.
• Co-ordinate with the clients for technical queries at Pre-Tender stage.
• Prepare detailed comparison sheets for Procurement and budget for awarded project MILAHA Logistics City Package 5 & 5A (QAR 455 Mil).

• Preparation of Interim Payment Certificate with backup consisting of approved As-built drawings and approved checklists as per the Terms of payment stated in the contract.
• At project commencement prepare accurate Quantity Forecast of marine and civil works as per Program of Works to assist procurement department.
• Follow up and provide clarification to client for approval of Interim Payment Certificate.
• Monitor Performance Bond, Retention Bond and Advance payment Bond.
• Aid in application of Workmen’s Compensation Act, Third Party Insurance, Plant & Equipment Insurance and Professional Indemity Insurance.
• At project commencement prepare detailed Cashflow based on the budget, quantity forecast, program of works and terms of payment.
• Monitoring the Cashflow as per actual progress over the project duration.
• Verify Sub-contractor monthly invoice.
• Verify correctness of sub-contractor quotation by preparing own Rate Analysis to aid negotiation with sub-contractor
• Identify Quantify variation of and Additional scope by comparing IFB, IFC and As-Built drawings.
• Prepare Equipment and Manpower forecast at the commencement of the project.
