Scope of the work involving store's operations and scientific inventory management of more than 20, 000 items, covered under 7 different warehouses, encompassing 4 major revenue sharing business units.

Established & controlling the procedures involved in Materials Planning & Stores Activities, in order to control complete Warehouse operations having 4 major Revenue Earning Business Units, sharing more than 70% of the overall business of the organization. (7 Warehouses covering more than 20, 000 no of items)

Directing & managing the operational labor force to achieve the prescribed objectives.

Overseeing development and implementation of receiving and issuing work schedules and assignments to assure effective and efficient operations.

Establishing operational procedures for verification of incoming and outgoing merchandise, handling and disposition of merchandise and keeping of warehouse inventory.

Monitoring and maintaining all key performance measures (Pick rate, Fill rate, Accuracy etc.)

Participating in process improvements and operational excellence projects.

Maintaining adherence to company policies, safety standards, and good housekeeping practices.

Ensuring all SOP's are followed and establishing, managing and improving warehousing processes and procedures.

Coordinating scheduled and ad hoc stock-takes and proactively identifying non-moving items, potential surpluses and reporting them to the concerned authorities.

Producing regular inventory analysis reports for decision-making and Identifying issues with inventory availability and working with the concerned stakeholders to resolve them.

Working with information management team to ensure proper setup of ERP and WMS to meet inventory control requirements.

Overseeing the departmental staff and providing them the relevant training for developing the staff.

Responsible for proper flow of paperwork, warehouse safety and security and warehouse equipment.
