Maintain receipts, records, and withdrawals of the stockroom
Receive, unload, and shelve supplies
Perform other stock-related duties, including returning, packing, pricing, and labeling supplies
Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies and report those to accounting for reimbursements and record keeping
Rotate stock and coordinate the disposal of surpluses
Ensure adequate record keeping and manage all documentation to confirm proper stock levels and maintain inventory control
Coordinate the handling of freight, the movement of equipment, and necessary minor repairs.
Maintain stock of goods on day to day basis.
Maintain bills of purchase, sales and expenses.
Prepare documents regarding export such as invoice data, M.S.D.S.(Material safety data sheet), C.O.A.(Certificate of analysis) and ingredient list.
Keeping the cheque for any invoices or payments.
Maintain petty cash expenses.
making the data entries.
Analyse and transit the manual records to the computerised accounting system.
Assist the coordinator with month end financial reports. Working under supervision of other accountants like help with bank reconciliation statements, doing data entry, filing and scanning of reports. Compose and input entries into tally software. Ensure the completion of assigned tasks in line with established deadline.
The Bachelor of Commerce has a wide range of managerial skills and understanding in streams like finance, accounting, taxation, marketing management, business law, corporate law, economics, business statistics, cost accounting, auditing and management. There were assignments in some subjects like marketing managements, auditing , economics and accounting. Also we had the seminars in theoretical subjects like marketing and economics.
