Supplying cranes for aluminum smelters, the spare parts and providing the required services.
Main responsibilities:
● Account Manager for 3 of the biggest aluminum smelters in the world. Responsible for full Sales Cycle, including tenders,
negotiation of prices, deliveries and aftersales. Contracts up to 4 M USD.
● Sourcing and negotiation with suppliers.
● Project Manager for KPI’s implementation for the spare parts department.
● Process mapping.
● Solution of discrepancies/Aftersales.
● Data analysis with the focus of implementing actions to improve our processes and thrive in performance.
● Cross-Functional coordination.
● Use of project management tools to prepare the department for external audits.
● Training of new employees. Managing the timeline of the handover of functions to different members of the team and
following up on the evolution of the learning and correct implementation of each process.
● Organizing team buildings and events for the company.
Achievements:
● Implementation of blanket agreements with customers reducing workload and ensuring exclusivity.
(Approximately 1/3 reduction in workload).
● Process re-engineering for several areas:
a. Non-conformance handling process, creating tools to monitor them and improve efficiency reducing
discrepancies up to 60%.
b. Project management process.
c. Standard operating procedures.
● Part on the Implementation and maintenance of the company’s HSEQ Management system.
● Cost saving initiatives, such as digital signature, reducing paper consumption, etc. (Today the spare parts department
have reduced the paper consumption up to 90%).
● Managing the office relocation.
