Project: Early Childhood Development for Early Detection and Early Intervention of Disabilities Project (ECD for EDEI) Donor: Agence Française de Développement, Canton de Genève, and Latter-Day Saints Charities. Responsibilities and Achievements:
•Managed and mobilized project's resources to reach 1, 200 children with quality EDEI services, 2, 000 caregivers with awareness campaigns, and 150 medical professionals with capacity building.
•Designed and initiated the EDEI system with three project partners (Mersal Foundation, Tadamon and Refuge Egypt) and in coordination with the Regional Technical Unit of HI.
•Initiated new partnerships and liaised with MoH, MoSS, IOM, UNHCR and Caritas for the project's implementation.
•Advocated for the adoption of HI's developed EDEI model within the primary healthcare system in a roundtable event with 30 institutional representation including government entities and international actors.
•Led the development of HI's ECD/EDEI orientations and contributed to the development of HI's emergency plan, strategic plan, safeguarding policy and partnership strategy.
•Contributed to the delivery of disability inclusion and accessibility coaching to partners and beneficiaries.
•Led the process of improving accessibility of 5 Primary Healthcare Centers.
Project: BOKRA & Advanced Interreligious Peacebuilding Donor: US Department of State's Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor (DRL). Responsibilities and Achievements:
•Led the technical implementation of two interreligious peacebuilding projects within the Inter Faith Action Program portfolio.
•Coordinated project implmentation with 6 project partners in 3 different governorates.
•Drafted and edited technical reports to donor and supported the documentation of success stories.
•Participated in data collection and designing tools for monitoring and evaluation and tracking project progress through the IPTT (Indicators Performance Tracking Table)
•Participated in the project design and technical writing process of a new peacebuilding project in Minya for a DRL funding opportunity.
Project: Taghyeer Donor: European Union. Responsibilities and Achievements:
•Assisted in the planning, implementation, documentation and reporting of all the project activities including operations and budgets.
•Lead the monitoring and evaluation activities of the project (designing the tools, data collection, data analysis and reporting).
•Prepared and delivered trainings and coaching for Disabled People Organizations (DPOs) on CRPD, advocacy work, proposal writing and grant management.
•Organized all trainings for project's participants.
•Managed the communication with different project partners and stakeholders including relevant local government authorities, service providers and media.
•Organized the opening and closing events of the project including invitations to VIPs, booking venue, setting the program, organizing logistics and handling exhibitors and promotional materials
•Co-organized the International Disability Day Event in collaboration with the British Embassy.
•Drafted project's Final Report to the donor.
Department: Social Marketing Responsibilities and Achievements:
•Managed the grant application process including researching for funding opportunities, coordination among relevant program managers for project design, liaising with the M&E and finance departments for proposed M&E plan and budget, proposal writing, and compiling supporting documents for application submission.
•Drafted projects proposals and required documents and budgets when necessary for application submission.
Donor: DAAD - German Academic Exchange. Responsibilities and Achievements:
•Managed the fundraising and proposal writing process of all project's initiatives with the support of University of Stuttgart's focal point.
•Raised funding for events and initiatives organized in EZBET with the CSR department of reputable corporate organizations such as PricewaterhouseCoopers, L'Oréal, and PepsiCo.
•Designed, drafted, edited and translated all project's communications and marketing profiles.
•Managed the project's communications among various stakeholders in Germany and Egypt.
•Coordinated and documented project's meetings, sessions and workshops.
•Initiated and designed projects under the social development track and its interventions in education.
•Designed and conducted the needs assessment required for establishing the social development track (designing the survey, orienting volunteers on data collection, monitoring data collection and data entry process, analyzing data and provided recommendations).
