 R&D BU lead for $240MM Quaker Lite snacks business
 Influenced the development of the most robust innovation pipeline to date for the Lite Snacks group
 Inspired the product development team to introduce breakthrough ideas that are providing game changing innovation for the business in North America (Quaker Tortillaz, True Delights Fiber Crisps, and several line extensions). These products are combined to provide about $40MM in revenue.
 Presented a groundbreaking go-to-market business model partnering with a locally relevant and nutritionally ‘perfect snack’ idea to the CEO and PepsiCo Executive Committee with overwhelming response. When launched, this will provide 100% incremental business to PepsiCo in global markets.
 Leading the development of the ‘perfect snack’ and the business model by partnering with corporate R&D leadership and India business and R&D teams. Filed 1 patent in the process while the 2nd one is under review by patent lawyers.

 Program Leadership - Developed and implemented a new Field Ready commercialization process for Shelf Stable Juice business. Streamlined the documentation process and identified R&R, resulting in increased speed to market by 6 weeks.
 Successfully led the commercialization of 36 different formulas through FR process.
 Developed and commercialized the thermal process for Tunnel Pasteurization of non-carbonated 100% energy juice (Dole Lift). This process is first of its kind within PepsiCo. Conducted extensive studies to understand the impact of tunnel pasteurization heat profile on product quality and micro stability.
 Supported the Canadian QTG business to launch new juice flavors and to expand chilled production capacity. Led audits to identify process gaps and solutions at multiple facilities.
 Supported the Chilled business in the design of new pasteurizer systems for a high-speed single serve aseptic line and new aseptic tanks.
 Led the R&D team in developing a Super Fruit platform for Shelf Stable business.
 Managed and mentored one engineer. Conducted regularly scheduled coaching and feedback sessions. Conducted mid-year and annual reviews and assessment

 Led the R&D team for the initial development of next generation of Gatorade Nutrition Shake product. Conducted an extensive review of existing capabilities and product proposition, and presented the findings to the business team with R&D recommendations.
 Led the cross functional team to develop and implement a new technology for hot-fill bottle sterilization to overcome critical package quality issues. The implementation also led to $230M in annual cost avoidance of wasted product.
 Led the R&D team in the development and commercialization of G-Slide smoothie product. Developed the process for one of the most challenging hot-fill package/product combinations.
 Successfully developed and commercialized new $200MM+ Gatorade Lemonade sub-line. Developed testing procedures that laid the foundation to test any Gatorade flavor for process robustness. Received Gatorade “Will to Win Award” for out of the box thinking and excellence in execution.
 Managed a cross-functional team to install concentrate capabilities in the pilot plant. Identified scope, conducted detailed analysis of capabilities, infrastructure and capital requirements, and presented to senior leadership to gain alignment.
 Responsible for process design and commercialization of the fastest Gatorade/Orange Juice bottling line in North America. Led the team to identify and overcome several challenges to deliver best quality product with increased yield and reliability.
 Managed and mentored process summer intern. Helped to develop clear objectives and identify projects with direct business impact

 Managed a cross-functional technical team to design and commercialize a $2MM state-of-the-art Gatorade brik-pak Aseptic line. Also led the commercialization of a $50MM+ new Gatorade offering to be run on the Aseptic line.
 Led process development activities in design and commercialization of six high speed Gatorade production lines. Led cross-functional teams of corporate engineers, quality assurance, operations, maintenance, and vendors to identify and overcome challenges to deliver optimal quality product with increased yield and reliability. Provided hands-on training to the operators to help them understand the system and specifications. Recognized in the organization for exceptional leadership and outstanding technical skills.
 Led the efforts in upgrading the Gatorade pilot plant to provide better scale-up capability and to bring it in compliance with Quality standards. Designed all of the upgrades to the pilot production line and managed the $100M project budget. Project was completed on time and on budget.
