Summary of Responsibilities:
Planned, managed and coordinated all activities related to the sourcing and procurement of parts to dispatch and monitor performance based on Service Level Agreement. The incumbent coordinates the logistics of all aspects of the supply chain that includes planning/making strategies, sourcing of parts and suppliers, manufacturing, delivery and logistics and return of defective/unwanted parts.
On warehouse and Distribution:
Managed and supervised the efficient receipt, warehousing and storage, value-adding servicing, dispatch of a wide variety of products and distribution operations.
On procurement and supplier relationship management
• Managed the supply chain, contact point for suppliers, suggested structural quality and process improvements, and collaborated with other engineers in a team environment.
• Provided the firm with the lowest cost, shortest cycle time and outstanding quality products and services by identifying, developing, and evaluating supplier base.
• Participated in new product development to facilitate procurement of parts and equipment to meet design specifications, release to manufacture and time to marketplace.
• Made recommendations and presented spend to the president analysis to serve as basis for procurement decisions.
