Job Profile as Projects Cost Control:
• Preparation of Business Plan, review with management & finalization.
• Preparation of project wise & overall company Profit & loss report.
• Review of PPR’s for all new projects.
• Verify & approval of Purchase requisition’s (PR’s) for all projects.
• Verify & approval of Local / International Purchase Orders (LPO’s/IPO’s) for all projects.
• Preparation & monitoring of all projects LPO Expenses vs Budget.
• Responsible to control and monitor project total expenditure by verifying and checking invoices/claims from suppliers, vendors and subcontractors to ensure that all project expenditures are captured and properly recorded.
• Project cost estimation and perform project costing related reporting to the team and management’s review on a monthly basis to ensure that expenditures are kept within the
project budget.
• If any project expense is exceeding the budget, then raise budget overshoot alarm to concern for clarification & based on the response suggesting for further action.
• To prepare material & labor budget based on PPR for all projects.
• To coordinate with Production Manager & Project Manager's for the approval of fabrication & installation labor budget.
• To coordinate with all the departments for getting project related expenses
• Generate monthly cost reports in tabular and graphical formats for each project.
i. Budget BOQ / CTC report.
ii. Material budget vs actual report.
iii. Labor budget vs actual report.
iv. Profit & loss report
• Perform cost analysis and advise concern on cost over-runs in a timely manner so the corrective actions can be taken.
• Prepare monthly project report for the monitoring of the project activities on a daily basis and register all issues relating to the project promptly to the project manager and management.
• Coordinate and work with the project management team to resolve project issues to ensure the delivery/completion of the project work.
• Small projects coordination from receiving enquiry till installation & invoicing.
• Implementation of ERP.
Job Profile as Projects Planning:
• Detailed study of work scope, quantity and familiar with logical sequences in terms of engineering, procurement, production and construction disciplines.
• Preparation of Project Baseline Schedule covering entire scope and within defined timelines using Primavera tool.
• Responsible for man, material, tools and equipment’s planning.
• Co-ordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Production & Project departments for gathering project related data for updating the program.
• Develop and update labor histogram weekly or monthly as required.
• Develop and implement plan versus actual progress charts (histograms/S curves).
• Track, monitor and forecast progress of all activities and deliverable such as engineering, procurement, production and construction disciplines.
• Analyze gaps between the planned and actual progress and highlight the areas of concern.
• Preparation & submission of one month look-ahead schedule to each department that reflect the critical activities which will enable to work according to the plan & thereby achieving target milestones.
• Preparation of weekly/monthly reports for close monitoring & expediting project progress.
• Preparation of monthly planned vs actual work done along with reason of shortfall if any.
• Preparation of delay analysis & recovery program in coordination with project team.
• Preparation of EOT & prolongation claims in coordination with project team
• Attending review, progress & coordination meetings.
• Review of tender documents, specifications, scope of work, drawings and BOQ.
• Listing of queries for clarifications on the technical and commercial aspect of the proposal.
• Identify sub-contract / specialized work items and float enquiries to subcontractors / suppliers manufacturers, follow up, collect and prepare detailed comparative statement of quotations.
• Coordinate and confirm with Structural Engineers, Design Engineers and other relevant divisions such as Glass, Structural steel, kitchen cabinet and stainless steel on special design and constructions, as required.
• Quantity take-off of different items - curtain wall, door, windows, louvers, aluminum composite cladding, canopy, skylight, handrails etc. within the scope of work with clear records of the assumptions / exceptions / exclusions made for the preparation of estimates.
• Attending Pretender Meeting and Site Surveys.
• Pricing, by interpreting and following company’s tendering processes and procedures to ensure all aspects of tenders are met including relevant discipline codes and standards.
• Rate analysis of all the items of works using prevailing master rates of material, plants and labors and to project specific requirements with coordination with management team.
• Complete Estimation of the project and prepare the itemized Bill of Quantities, Offer Letter, Technical & Contract Compliance statements for the scope of work.
• Preparation of overall cost summary of the project for review by Estimation Manager.
• Compare Tender & Contract drawings, identify the Variations and submit to the Variation Department
• Review of tender documents, specifications, scope of work, drawings and BOQ.
