• Testing and monitoring systems and standards of the IT Department for internally developed IT
applications through thorough testing and evaluation and reporting findings to the applications’
developers
• Administrating the Blackboard application which includes building queries, coordinating with
respective instructors and students, troubleshooting, and managing the blackboard database
• Generating and monitoring IT related key performance indicators and reporting to the IT
department director
• Training faculty members on the use of the tools and services available in the Blackboard application
• Managing the department’s purchasing process including submissions of purchase requisitions and
coordination of asset tracking
• Managing IT maintenance contracts which includes preparing, analyzing and evaluating bidding
documents for the outsourced maintenance contract renewals
• Processing departmental invoices and expenses within the department budget process
