- Conducting research, writing, fact checking and editing on projects related to education in the Middle East region, and its prospects for development.
- Projects focus on the intersection of education, religion, geopolitics and the legacy of the education systems in the Middle East politically, socially and economically.
- Currently working on the research and editing of a book on Tunisia by Professor Safwan Masri. The book tells the story of Tunisia as a comparative and historical counterpoint to the rest of the region; its unique position in the Arab world, and its cultural, political, and educational indicators.
My role is to facilitate communication to the public about our projects through different communication tools and platforms; and to raise the profile of environmental and sustainability issues in the UAE, inviting the wider UAE community to get involved and make a difference.

Campus Radio is an online radio platform catered to the youth of the Middle East. I produced and hosted my own infotainment radio show, The Wire, which focused on promoting youth talent in the region. We used social media platforms as well as a phone line to connect with our audience, exchanging ideas and taking in music requests on air. I also assisted in content management and production of all shows on Campus Radio, as well as in producing events.
Assisted with two research projects: Family Businesses in Saudi Arabia and
Knowledge Management in government bodies in the UAE. I carried out
quantitative analysis and reporting of data using SPSS software (Statically
Package for Social Sciences), assisted in building the database, and carried out
translation/transcription from Arabic to English and vice versa.
I built a month-long summer camp program for a group of 80 special needs
children and their families based on engaging and socially encouraging activities.
Tasks included researching suitable activities for special needs children, and
approaching and soliciting in-kind contributions from institutions willing to
provide complimentary services/use of venue. I successfully planned events in Ski Dubai, Wild Wadi, Magic Planet, and Dubai Aquarium to name a few.
Obtained full scholarship from the Saudi Ministry of Higher Education.
