Job Description:
•Loading and unloading of different sizes of plates
•Giving hand signals to the operator especially on the blind spots
•Lifting of annular plate to their exact location
•Lifting and install of double bottom plate of the tank
•Lifting and erection of shell plate of the tank from 40mm up to 10mm thickness
•While doing erection of shell plate, at the same time erection of 10mm thickness plate for the installation of the floating roof.
•If there is no rigging job, I work as
tool box meeting before we start to work
•Loading and unloading of double ending pipe
•Lifting of pipe and put to the pipe stand for ground fit-up
•Erection of pipe to the pipe rack
•Giving hand signals to the operator
•Always make sure that the rigging gear and always accurate to the weight of the load
•Don’t expose the sling and other rigging gear under the rain
•Always use tagline to control the load
•Assist to the pipe fitter and welder

•Manually erection of heavy wall pipes using chain block and tir for only
•Lifting and assemble of structural materials to the ground for the preparation of erection

•Use of level bar to get the exact level of the column trashes and girder
•Install of ladder and gratings
•Doing some repair and reworks in commissioning especially ladder and gratings
•Giving hand signal to the operator
•House keeping at the end of the shift
