• Maintaining healthy relationship with existing and new customer.
• Performing administrative works such as Daily Sales Report, Store self-audit and administrative support involving efficient handling of confidential reports and coordinating to all branches in Dubai regarding sales per day
• Responsible for the submission of Weekly Trade Report, Monitoring and updating stocks on hand in the database, permit renewals of the in-house and external contractors needed for an upcoming events, store changing layout/merchandising and store maintenance such as IT and network problems, electrical, carpentry and repainting issues.
• Responsible for the monthly sales analysis report, billing statements, monthly attendance and overtime, calculating incentives or commission, store budget for stationery, pantry and petty cash replenishments and reimbursements,
• Preparing promotion / marketing proposal or ideas, sales report and presentation
• Supporting the store in attaining sales target, providing sales and assisting in the implementation of sales strategy prepared by Store Manager.
• Attending seminars/trainings to develop and maintain contact with customers, mall activities and Fire safety and Securities
• Coordinating and responding to all request of other store and warehouse
• Maximizes sales and exceeds store budgets.
• Creates a positive attitude within the team by delegating responsibilities to appropriate subordinates. Gives others the scope to exercise their own initiative and invests them with the power and authority to accomplish tasks effectively.
• Ensure the security of the staff, stocks, properties and equipments of the store at all times.
• Effective implementation of customer service guidelines and handling all store related issues like Stocks issues, employees concerns including Customers complaints in a prompt and fair decisions.
• Operating POS/ Cash register machine and assisting all cashiers in all kinds of queries and transactions like Exchange/Refund procedures, Discounts, Prices Overrides, Modes of Payments, Suspending and retrieval of transactions, Short Banking ( Pay-In/Pay-out procedures), Item Inquiries and cash handling.
• Overall responsibility of handling the department in absence of the Store Manager.
• Responsible in accurate Receiving and Transferring of the items. Internal and External Transfer. Manage the inventory of merchandise and supplies in a timely and organized manner
• Do the accurate tracking and documentation
• Ensure that all Physical inventory checks are carried out at all locations as per planned schedules. Carry out an annual count in all warehouse locations.
• Validate receiving, transferring and bin accuracy to ensure accurate stocks of both products and assets including record of expiry / Vintage / Supplier batch.
• Analyze processes and recommend process improvements required for achieving 100% accuracy in the receiving, put away and picking process. This includes recording errors and recommending disciplinary or other corrective action against individuals or teams consistently failing to maintain acceptable standards
• Produce daily audit reports of receipts, put away and picking accuracy checks.
• Report on progress of scheduled Cycle and Annual Counts.
• Conduct and manage Cycle stock counts ensuring that teams are briefed, in place and fully prepared before commencing. Time limits set should be strictly adhered to. Keep complete records to show the detail of all sessions of the count and checks, and the reconciliation / adjustments effected. For Audit purposes
• Review and write off damaged /expired inventories in warehouse. Keep all records of destruction and accounting entries
• Review on regular basis aged/old stocks products, new arrivals, orders overages and shortages ( discrepancy) and advise Management to resolve the issue
• Provide customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional customer service.
• Effectively deal with customer queries and complaints.
• Ensure to avoid traffic and long queue during peak hours.
• Understanding the Brands returns and able to inform customer if requested.
• Ensured excellence in customer service and resolved all problems at the store level.
• Ensure all departments are having their morning team briefing/meeting and attendance check
• Start the general walkthrough and monitor behavior/posting of salesclerks, completeness of stocks in the selling area, proper labeling and signage’s according to the approved standards, same with Visual Merchandising.
• Submitting periodic reports (Report on damaged merchandise, suggested items to carry, out of stocks, CSL Rating, 4’oclock habit and sales analysis)
• Oversee deployment and drive motivation levels of the team members
• Evaluate performance of respective regular personnel on the practice of customer service and compliance of personnel locator
• Motivate and do performance appraisal for Regular personnel
• Conduct training and supervised full time newly hired salesclerk
• Ensure promotions and fast selling lines are featured in the department.
• Maintain a detailed knowledge of merchandise/products stocked in the store.
• Ensure effective stock replenishment to the department to assure continuous stock availability, ongoing
• Established sales goals, managed budgets and devised sales forecasts
• Check merchandise display of the department
