Loading Bay Manager (Inbound Logistics)
• Over-all In-Charge of loading bay for all the shipments of merchandise (Fashion Ready-to-Wear, Beauty & Cosmetics, Watch & Jewelry and luxury leather goods.
• Managing 2 Supervisors, 10 stock keepers & 5 runners for the whole Department Store.
• Receives / Transfers / RTV - Return to Vendor merchandise into the system using MS Dynamics.
• Oversees the overall organization of all the stock rooms.
• Liaise to the Logistics Team of different suppliers, local couriers for the delivery of merchandise.
• Coordinates with the Buying & Merchandising Teams for all the incoming shipments in regards to International Barcodes registration in the system.
• Liaise to the suppliers of consumable like barcode labels & security alarm tags critical to the operation of the Department Store.
• Part of the Opening Team, hence, I am responsible of the procurement processes.
• Oversees the Loading Area for Receiving/Transfer of merchandise.
• Supervise 8 store keepers for the whole Department Store.
• Receives / Transfers / RTV-Return to Vendor merchandise into the system using Oracle (Store Inventory Management).
• Liaise to the Logistics Team of different supplier, local courier for the delivery of merchandise.
• Liaise to the Buying Team for Invoice concerns.
• Part of the Opening Team of Galeries Lafayette - Doha, Qatar.
• Receives supplies from the vendor, cross-check then confirm it with the system.
• Distribution of Fashion Items to each Department (Children’s, Ladies & Men’s wear, shoes, homes & luggage) of all branches of the company all over Doha
• Receiving into Warehouse Management System (WMS-Oracle) of Advance Shipping Note (ASN)
• Oversees the organization of stock rooms and deliveries of stocks transfer (In & Out).
• Responsible for inventory to all Retail Store in Doha, for both mobiles and accessories. Make adjustment to the system (SAP-Oracle) regarding non-working phones and damaged accessories from showroom back to warehouse. Ensures all of stocks are in good conditions. Act as QA officer for processing of all sales transactions and monitors if they meet the proper procedures. Liaise to service center for non-working phones.
• Consolidates Sales Report during promotion and sends to Top Management.
• Checking sales invoices from all the showrooms, sales and service centers, daily.
• Oversees Multi-Brand/Consumer Electronics like Alcatel, Apple, Blackberry, Huawei (Smartphones & Tablets), Nokia & Samsung.
• Responsible for receiving stocks and making order for our Dealers (Resellers).
• Handling & processing sales and after sales request such as postpaid lines and prepaid, SIM card & phone replacement, bill interpretation, change of ownership/address, broadband retention and relocation, printing of smart money card, cross-selling, prepaid & postpaid inquiries.
• As Inventory Officer, I’m responsible for all incoming & outgoing of prepaid & postpaid phones, including premium items for infinity (VIP) subscribers.
• As a Cashier, I do processing of payments (credit card, cash & check), generating reports from Express Payment System Machine.
