Accountable for the entire project management with planning, design, engineering, procurement, installation and commissioning of HVAC, Plumbing and Fire Fighting System
Project Engineer, with joint responsibilities for all engineering, planning, procurement, installation, commissioning and maintenance of HVAC, plumbing and fire fighting systems. Sole responsible for all on site engineering works, has an engineering team with 4 site supervisors and 80 plus skilled/unskilled workers.
• Accountable for the entire project management with planning, procurement, erection, dismantling and commissioning.
• Preparing work program (Primavera and MS Project) and keeping logs for material submittal and procurement, shop drawing submittal for status reviewing and generating daily, weekly and monthly report showing progress and current status of the project.
• Attending project technical and site progress meetings with main contractor, consultant and the client.
• Air-conditioning cooling load calculations in accordance with ASHRAE and CARRIER codes.
• Designing of chilled water piping systems, calculating head loss via self generated excel spreadsheets.
• Duct designing, supervision of duct fabrication and installation of ducts and static pressure calculation (as per SMACNA, DW142 & DW144 standards).
• Quality supervision of day to day work assigned to technicians, foreman and providing technical supports to them for effective and quick troubleshooting.
• Liaising on site with clients, consultants, third party and other agencies like electrical, civil and structural during the course of execution.
• Estimation of Heat Load with latest software, Duct design, pipe design, Equipments Selection i.e. chiller, A.H.U, Pump, Fan, V.A.V, Heat exchanger etc.
• Organize and prepare shop drawing from the contract drawing, pump head calculation, static pressure and cfm calculation for exhaust fans.
• Testing, commissioning and balancing of HVAC, plumbing and fire fighting systems.
• Preparing operation and maintenance manual for HVAC, plumbing and fire fighting systems.
• Preparation of I/O schedule, installation and wiring of DDC panels for BMS system.
