Review & approval of contractor’s EHS Plan & Risk Assessments as per the client and other legal requirements.
Monitoring occupational health and safety implementations at construction sites in accordance with legal requirements & technical specifications.
Organize HSE meetings among staff, monthly HSE meetings with clients & top Management and preparing Agenda, Minutes and also providing the guidance.
Daily site visit at different work locations to ensure all the safety measures are taken before the day work starts.
Carry out weekly and periodic joint SHE inspection with contractor personnel and ensuring all the corrective/preventive actions are closed out.
Update risk assessment whenever any changes in the system.
Initiate emergency response drill and ensure the drills are carried out as per schedule and confirm it meet our performance standards.
Follow-up contractor’s incident investigation and ensuring close out actions are timely completed to prevent reoccurring.
Train employees on methods of safe work practices and providing necessary technical guidance for accident protection.
Prepare Monthly SHE report in conjunction with contractor personnel and submitting to the client.
Conduct site safety reviews.
Responsible for organizing and conducting induction training.
Assist management with in meeting established safety and risk management goals and objectives.
Working based at Company Head Office, and assisting QHSE Manager, and visiting all company projects, conduct inspections, making inspection reports, conduct meeting with site management, consultant, represent QHSE Manager in client/ consultant meetings.
Prepare risk assessments, work instructions. Prepare safety bulletins, Assist top management in detailed accident investigation,
Conduct joint site safety inspection with QHSE Manager, Conduct internal audit in project sites, conduct audit on sub contractors,
prepare training presentation for different topics as directed by QHSE Manager, Conduct training for site staff as well as main office staff.
Conduct monthly inspections at company workshop and central store.
Conduct monthly visit and inspections at project sites and labor camps
Prepare and submit ADEHSMS Quarterly Reports
Participate in Municipality events
Participate in Monthly HSE performance review meetings at projects sites
Prepare QHSE bulletins and alerts
Conduct 100 points inspection at project sites
Conduct internal audits at project sites and sub contractors.
Assist top management for detailed accident investigation
Worked as Sr. HSE officer in Barwa City Project, Leading a team of HSE Officers and Assistants. Responsibilities include provide safety induction to all new employees, Conduct daily, weekly, monthly safety inspections at site, workshops, assist HSE Manager to prepare risk assessments, Work instruction, Inspect all equipment before deployment to the project. Conduct and chair Monthly safety meetings, Review sub contractor safety performance, coordinate with store and purchase department for the non stop availability of Personal protective equipment at sites. Inspect store, Discuss with Construction Manager for the forthcoming activities and safety measures to be taken to prevent any incidents.Proper monitoring on good housekeeping, monitoring the proper implementation of Permit to work system. Assist top management in detailed accident investigations.
